I must admit, I'm kind of looking forward to seeing this rust in person. The last time I was at Universal in October, I just went to WWoHP and didn't even care to see the rest of the park.

But it has to, not hope to, IT HAS TO get a refurb after the new year, PERIOD. Its a very slow time until March right after the new year and this is the time crowds are at their lightest. If they don't, then we know UO doesn't care about the coaster at all.

But regardless if its a little rough or not, this is still one the great steel coasters in the world...thats right THE WORLD

With Trike being opened now and the holidays, what else might get in Universal's way of touching up Hulk now?

Save the Hulk!​

We have updated this page with about 10 new images of the track that is in worse condition than we previously thought. We also surpassed 50 members of the cause and we are steadily gaining steam in our effort. We also are planning a major re-development of the Hulk page from a simple page to a moderately sized sub web site if you would.​

From what it looks like there going to do something about it.

Most likely a form letter, with all the complaints they probably get. Still cool to see thanks.
With the cost of a day at the park it should not be allowed to look like that ever, shame on you USR.

That's good that they at least acknowledged your letter. Unfortunately it just looks like a standard form letter sent to anybody who complains about matinence in the park. Sorry, I hate being a pesimist.

I think it's a simple letter at they send everyone who complains. The only difference is that it has Tyler's name on it so therefore it's worth a little but nothing to change Universal's mind.

That is pretty embarrassing for a destination park. The whole resort has just felt so tired and worn out in the past few years. If they made more of an effort to keep things presentable and in good condition, I bet they'd get more repeat visitors.

And park maintenance is one of the things Disney routinely clobbers Universal at.
I doubt guests would be allowed to see a major attraction in this state at Disney. Heck I doubt this would even happen at SeaWorld. Why does Uni in particular have such a problem with general park maintenance?

I think because (and I could be wrong but) Universal's process time is longer since they have to get contruction contracts / bring in outside crews in order for anyone to fix / refurb / repaint a ride unlike Disney where they have there own crew of people that can get to the rides and improve them / fix them faster.
