a lot of people are angry at the idea of will smith in matrix 5 but I welcome it, just as long as it doesn't follow matrix 4. at all. make it set 100 years in the future or something. a second city or something
I would like to see will smith as a new leader or maybe the new The ONE.
I feel like it's too early for Super Bowl, and that this is probably Matrix 5. Though if I'm honest, I'd rather get I Am Legend 2 over Matrix
I rather have a new I, robot or a new men in black where will Smith is the older grumpy guy and he's teaching a younger recruit lol. make Will get annoyed at the younger agent lol. ( the beginning of men in black 2 kinda played with this, with the agent crying at the dinner, but I want a full movie like that lol )
a sequel to I, robot would be extremely powerful to be made today, there's so much to do with that universe ( I know that I, robot was a book)
The Matrix Resurrections was one of the worst sequels I've ever seen so just like Stallone doing Rocky Balboa to make us forget about Rocky 5, I'm all for another sequel for the same reason.

depends if it's just a reboot or a remake, really really hard to make a good sequel with how matrix 4 ended up. do you bring Keanu back? full reboot? do you bring Neil Patrick Harris back?
Would be pretty neat casting since Will Smith was originally supposed to be Neo.
I'm kinda glad he wasn't neo, he's a good actor and it could have been interesting but Keanu brought up a naive vulnerability that worked for the role, Keanu was reborn and he was confused and clueless at first, having to relearn to live in the real world, I don't know if Will could have done that. he was very charismatic, too charismatic in fact.
