LOL! Oh, I know! Its very funny. Some are like "thats good what is it?" while others spit it out before its announced. I always tell after theyve tried it.

So, Im going to try and get in tommorrow and hopefully will. If any of you are going tommorrow I hope to meet you (even if its unknown at first).

I just hope 2 years from now they are able to still justify the service level they are striving for in the 3 broomsticks right now...so many times the parks/attractions are over the top in the beginning but as time goes on labor costs/cuts creep up, service is cut to whats actually needed not all the "extras", etc. So I say if anyone gets the chance this year, definately enjoy the atmosphere in the broomsticks now, just in case later....well, you know.

I was glad also to see Captain Americas open again the last couple trips: been closed for the season far too long. Sad to see though that Green Eggs hasnt been open the last few trips - I was SOOO happy when it re-opened a couple of months ago, but after a couple of weeks it was shut down again. Used to be my first favorite breakfast in IOA (of course now its second to 3 Broomsticks!)

Also, has anyone heard any more facts or rumors on Trike Encounter reopening? I know Screamscape was following this one closely a few months ago and had it on pretty good authority that UO was really considering opening it again, but nothings been said or even scpeculated in months!

Hay Nightmare, are you saying 46-48 inches on chest/stomach is cut off point, and were you just a little above that so thats why u dont fit. Not trying to get you to reveal urself just nervous :(
My family thinks im a freak for freaking out about not being able to ride the FJ as i have fit on every other ride before, but i have been looking foward to it for so long i would be just crushed if i cant ride. i have 47 stomach and 48 chest, so i will crash now as i am going end of june.

To be honest you might not fit. I think 48 is roughly the cutoff, meaning 47 or 46 is probably ok. The thing that matters the most is if someone has a big stomach or chest. Basically if someone has a beer belly or large top(females) you might also not fit. I have broad shoulders but my weight is evenly distributed. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you could technically be skinny but have a problem area that just sticks out too much.

I know what you mean. I was really excited to see green eggs and ham open finally but now its not and thats sad.

3 broomsticks is trying to set a new standard to universal that will trickle down into the other areas of the two parks. The park is great to go to right now not only for the newness of it but because its not that crowded (park wide and island wide).

Well, you know DreamCat, the old saying is "It all started with a mouse". The new saying may be "The Sorcerer's Apprentice was de-throned, by a Wizard".
LOL.

Like a very strong thick saussage flavor with very little spiciness - just as it should!
Their supplier really has this recipe down...its just as I remembered it from my childhood.
Just wish we could get a bigger portion than just one slice.

Hey G-Rat, did you get to see the link to the pics of the glasses I posted earlier? I didnt get to follow up with you or Claire-Bear yet.

Is this the blog on Orlando Sentinel?? I did a search on the internet and it shows an article about the seat restrictions but the link goes to a different story. Was it changed or edited? If you can point me to the article I would highly appreciate it. Thanks.

Danielle, Im pretty sure after your training, part of your checkout will be to try one of everything on the menu at Broomsticks, and if you hold it all down you get to keep the job!

Just kidding, but congrats again on your new status!

It has been worked on in the past year.... comptroller docs show that a company has been there three times over the last 12 months. It may be a backup plan for crowds should UO be so lucky. But it has been being worked on by independent engineers. Make of that what you will.

Well written article.

This is going to be a very tough, very sensitive subject for the guests, and for both UO and the load TM's to have to deal with for a while. Ive had to deal with this issue off and on before while loading guests on our ride over the years, but never on a scale like this has the potential of being. Wow.

I know what I would like to make of it, but no sense getting my hopes up until I see some evidence of Trikes being hauled back in. I know how both my older girl and her cousin LOVED this attraction, and my 5 year old loves the JP movies: I would love her to be able to experience it.

But I keep fearing that its just going to end up being extended queue for the summer crowds being so near to the edge of the greenhouse...a holding paddock for humans - lol.

It would take quite a little commitment of both money and manpower to get the Trikes up and running again, for something UO didnt consider worth maintaining.

Any insight on the boats? I also heard a lot of rumors about those...of course we still hear rumors about the DAK boats too, and we know theres almost no chance of them coming back for guest cruises either unless DAK can figure out how to make money serving food on the boats or something.
