Just got home from WWOHP

Just got home from WWOHP. Got in at 9AM, all GP, no checking for hotel guests. It is alot different during the day. Saw it at night during the POW WOW event. Still holding off to ride FB and the Castle que until the Grand Opening Celebration. Got crowded within an hour. Very hot today, time to go swimming. May go back tomorrow for about an hour.

3 trips out there, 5 rides on FJ, breakdown today only affected me for 15 minutes (and I was still in the queue), and even was a member of the "4-minute entry club" on Wed.

I feel for ya, man. But, wasnt Hogsmeade something else? Definately a step up in the theming game for UO. No wonder WDW decided to push Fantasyland to new heights.

Didn't get a chance to experience it. By the time I got out of FJ, everything was closing up in Hogsmeade. I'll be back again though next week.

According to Nightshade, TWWoHP is currently closed for a private event and softs have ended.

Made it in yesterday!!! Wow! Visually I was stunned! The attention to detail is stunning. My poor hubby had to put up with my inner nerd escaping..." oh! look! its the...." but I am so glad he took me out. Butterbeer, yummy!! Got in line for the FJ and about 10 minutes later they closed the queue, so we were feeling lucky. Then we were about 25 people from getting on....and down went the ride. sniff. We were going to stick it out but they ended up closing it for the day. So, first attempt to get in WWoHP, failed. Second attempt, succes, then no FJ. Am taking my boys Monday am, and hoping 3 times a charm. lOl.

Hello everyone! :wave: I've been reading this thread for a long time and finally decided to join because I have a question I thought you guys could answer.

Okay, so my family is considering buying the 2 park Getaway package for June 14-16 and staying at a Universal Partner Hotel: The Farefield Inn & Suites which is about 1 mile from the parks. The package says that the hotel comes with early park access to IOA and I've read on here how you can use your room key to get into WWOHP early along side the Potter package people. Does this early admission still apply at partner hotels? If I buy this can I get into WWOHP just like the Potter package people? Or is the hotel thing strickly for the on-site hotels? Thanks in advance. :smiley:

Yes, if you book a package with a Partner Hotel, you will get in. Universal will deliver all your need documents to the hotel before your arrival. Have fun.

I have a question about the forbidden journey ride. I just read an article that says it is not a coaster, but moves along a track. Does it carry the same warning for pregnant women that traditional coasters do? For those that have ridden it, is it violent - ie: throw you around? I am pregnant but just a little over halfway to the end, so the belly isn't too big yet. We're going the week of June 14 (package) and I had already planned on not being able to ride the ride, but when I saw that it is not an actual coaster, I wondered. Thanks!

I have not been on but most people describe it as a slighty more intense version of Spiderman. I'm not quite sure if you'd be able to get on or not.
