It used to be I wish I could go to Hogwarts, now I'm wishing someone a happy birthday and telling them that they are going to Hogwarts... So cool!!!)

I asked if you had any intentions of visiting the WW.

Oh, yes sir! With any luck I'll be there in October or November. Contemplating the Gory Getaway Package for HHN, as well. Since I live on the opposite side of the country, I don't get to visit often, and having never hit up HHN in Orlando, I decided, in the words of Doc Brown, "What the hell?"

No BS. And if you want to go with movie BS the astronomy tower does not face that direction in the movies. I will tell that the complicated sign I described was absolutely IN the plans. Now, I will allow a few that know me here tell you that when I know, and I say I know, and I don't make it a riddle out of it, then I know and I am trying to tell you all a true fun fact. Never expect proof from me. We are not in a court room.

You can ask me one question... what were all 10 signs, and which direction were they to rotate. Don't say "no way" to Teebin when * ** ******* ** *** ***** right now. It isn't wise.

I'll say no way if I want to :P But I won't. I'll only say I would have been dissapointed in a sign like that, The goal is authenticity. Maybe the Astronomey tower isn't like the movies, but they had to do that to make it visible. Those signs sound like something that would have belonged in Suess. In Harry Potter, it just sounds very corny and kiddish...

It is a stupid design...but it did go out for bid. It should have been four or five signs: London, Little Winging, Forbidden Forest, Quidditch Grounds and Azkaban Prison. What was proposed was fluffy and uninformed and did not support the seriousness of the story.

I wouldn't have minded that so much, however, Hogwarts isn't really close to London... Or Little Winging for that matter. Or Azkaban... I doubt they would have those signs in the real Hogsmeade. However, Forbidden Forest and the Quidditch grounds would have worked... It all comes down to authenticity, and I am critical when it comes to this kind of thing for HP. This land is extremely authentic, and, although I can't judge it for myself yet (although I doubt I'll ever say that it isn't), it seems very fun. It's authentic to the books, and therefore, authentic to the world we dreamed of :)...

I have read back like 8 pages and just cant continue to go through it, can someone tell me what opening was like this morning at IOA. Was there a major wait first thing in the morning. I plan on going tomorrow morning and was wondering what to expect at about 8:30 AM. Thanks

By 9:30 AM this morning, there was a 5 hour wait to get into the island. By 3 PM the line was gone. Good luck!

I am not an expert on HP at all... but at least my ideas were closer to what was serious about the story than what was proposed. It is as if it was designed by someone that watched the first film or read the first book.... it is foul and stupid. Alas, it does not exist today, and that could be for many different reasons and the best of which would be JKR.

Gosh, this is a pretty resort.... look beyond the people. BTW Mr. Crane. those tall skinny palms in the foreground are Washington palms. Most are running 50'-70'. (sorry, that was an inside conversation)

That's a picture from June 18th's crowds. There was no line in Citywalk this morning. I'm pretty sure he misinterpreted your question, hence the "opening day" in his sentence.

This is what the line was like this morning: http://yfrog.com/5dtqwxj

Nope, this was opening. There are still crowds to get into the island, though. Not sure about getting into the park.

Hey Teebin was there any reason you wanted to know if I was planning a visit or was it just curiosity?

I haven't been on in awhile and haven't had a chance to read everything. Has there been any discussion on the WWoHP special that is scheduled to be on WKMG Thursday at 8pm? The description says it is about the impact of Central Florida's newest attraction. I'm assuming this is just a special made by the local news station. Does anyone know more?
