I think that DC was the after-thought in this whole "upgrade." It was the middle child. FJ was the baby, FotH was the college grad getting a (very nice) care package in the mail that will feed them sugary goodies for quite awhile.

I think they kept DD open far too long. They should've closed it for good after the winter holiday season. That would've given them more time to not only implement a better plan for an upgrade, but think of one. Astory-line like FotH's could easily have been implemented here.

That way you can see what it is at night. Is there any way to tell what FotH's name is at night?

OMG, you were way in front. I'm in 3:04 with the pinkish shirt, blue shorts, and glasses. Totally sunburned by the way.

Still trying to catch up with all the threads that I missed while I was in Florida.

Even though I was way in the front (relatively...I was by Pteranodon Flyers), I still waited a good two and a half hours to get in once they opened it up!
Did you have a good time Razz? See anyone from Mugglenet?

--- Update ---

According to Mugglenet there's a new kind of Potter package available starting in August...sound the same to me so far.

I would like to point out that the Chocolate Frog packaging has a bit of a mis-print. It says, "Milk Chocolate-Shaped Frog." I think they meant Frog-Shaped Milk Chocolate!"

I just opened mine and I agree, the frog is very large and solid, and the holographic card makes it worth the price. I was hoping for Ravenclaw, but got Gryffindor. :/

Ok... some fun. A kind of "did you know?" moment. These are designed and engineered ideas that never made it in for whatever reason. Ready?

Did you know that the Hogwarts/Hogsmeade sign was supposed to be 10 times what it is? It was to originally be many signs pointing at many places... and rotating all the time to change where things were. Only Hogwarts and Hogsmeade would have remained a constant. A few of the rotating signs would have been Hagrid's Hut, Forbidden Forest, Minerva Mcgonagall, and Severus Snape.

There were 10 in all... but the idea was either rejected, or quoted over budget. But the sign was originally designed as more magical.

Lol your join date is May 18th, but okay :)
It'll be late summer by then, so the lines will die down a little, but I think it should still be suggested that you visit at night, where it's less crowded and very beautiful.

the sign is exactly how it appears in the movie

so the idea that they wanted it to be more sounds like bs, just saying

I waited for 7 hours but it was completely worth it. I tried to cover everything in one day because I didn't want to wait all over again the next day. We ended up leaving pretty late into the day at around 11pm. I didn't see anyone but I might have not been looking hard enough because I was busy taking pictures of everything and noticing all the tiny details the park had. It was wonderful. I read your review and I can totally relate to the people who tried to cut. There were so many of them so we ended up making alliances with the groups around us so we can band together and not let anyone try and sneak into our line. I especially loved how everyone around spoke different languages yet they all hummed Hedwig's Theme whenever it played. :')
