No at all, cause of right now the Arabian section is a collection of stores no one goes to at all...the coolest of the stores which is the coin stamper would be gone...but I'll take a Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes store instead or a Borgin and Burkes along with Gringotts and also the pet store or book store from Diagon Alley.

Hey guys! Check this out!

Why is Universal asking guests if they would visit a doubled-in-size Wizarding World park in 12 months?

Just a few weeks ago we told you Universal is looking to expand the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park by taking over the existing Lost Continent area within the next two to three years.

Today we're seeing that a two to three year wait may actually be too long even for Universal. In a new survey sent to some guests who visited the park, Universal asks the following:

What if -- instead of expanding it -- we DOUBLED the size of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter? How likely would you be to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter again within the next 12 months to visit a Wizarding World of Harry Potter that was twice as big with twice as much everything?

The options you can select are "Very Likely", "Likely", "Somewhat Likely", "Not Very Likely", and "Not at all Likely".

While this is by no means official confirmation of a sooner-rather-than-later expansion, it proves Universal is really considering doubling the park and wants to know if past guests would come back within just a year of their last visit.

It's also great to hear that Universal is thinking about more than a little expansion. Doubling the park's size would bring it to 40 acres. As always, we'll keep you updated! Thanks to Al for the graphic showing the survey question.

But.. What do you think about it, guys? I mean... 12 months? That's impossible, right?

Oh yea of course its clearly impossible, but again this is also the day and age where Vegas builds a hotel in less than a year. So ANYTHING is possible...BUT it will be at least a year or two before this does happen, and maybe it will happen 12 months after the announcement is made, but otherwise, don't hold your horses.

Thank you, Tbad556!

That's crazy. LOL

I mean... I live far far far far away from Orlando and the US. I'm planning to visit the Wizarding World by the end of the year. And... WOW. I will have to return, maybe, the next two years to check the updates

I didn't confirm or start to pay this travel and I´m already saving my money for the next one. LOL.

HAHA. LOL. Don't worry, Vyrus. I also hate the BTG. I know exaclty what you mean. I was a Cast Member two years ago and it was really, really, really annoying. But, trust me... The Tour groups from Argentina are far worse! LOL. HAHA

I just remembered that there was concept art for a Gringott's facade in one of the WWoHP specials.

Just a shot in the dark but I am guessing we get an announcement when part 2 of the Deathly Hallows premieres. Wishful thinking I know.

That time frame would make sense, in all honesty. I have no doubt that they want this to take some thunder away from New Fantasyland.

I don't understand, what's the difference between expanding and doubling the size? Isn't that essentially the same thing?

That's, for sure, a good idea. And it will be something very interesting to Warner. I mean... Deathly Hallows: Part II is, literally, the goodbye of the series. The saga ends there. So, it makes sense if they announce anexpansion by the premiere. That way, people will still have something to look forward.

Not enough to "double the size" of the WWoHP.

The WWoHP itself took 3 years from the announcement. Even without building the large facade and attraction of HPatFJ, the land still would have taken over a year to build.

Very true. I think people are keying in on the year time frame from the survey way too much. Theme park surveys are simply there to gauge a response from a customer or group of customers. The year time frame was most likely just to see how quickly customers would actually return.

My guess is an announcement in the next 6-8 months, and an opening anywhere late 2012 to mid 2013, but that's just a guess.
