I'm curious - how's the Flight of the Hippogriff in terms of intensity? Is it really tame? I freaking HATE roller coasters - I'm pretty sure I almost died on Space Mountain when my parents tricked me into riding it back when I was still in elementary school (traumatized for life), so I'm wondering if a roller coaster hater like myself wouldn't mind Hippogriff. I've heard it's tame, but then I've also heard people say Space Mountain is tame, and...yeah. Not for me. ROFL. I wish I could enjoy more rides, but fear of heights and being a total coward make that difficult.
I have seen a video or two of the ride, and it LOOKS pretty smooth and tame, but looks can be so, so deceiving. My mother and I once saw a roller coaster that looked very tame to us from the ground at Six Flags Great America. When we got on it...oh sweet Jesus, we were dying. It was incredibly jarring - you felt like it was gonna go over the edge every few seconds. Yup, I think I was praying the entire time.
