Ha BBPH did my sig too but I haven't added it yet because I am trying to resize it. It looks to big when I preview my signature. BBPH does great work.

Heres a nice story about GP ignorance. Yesterday at school my pre-cal teacher had a warm-up question about our favorite ride at an amusement park. First i just wrote the Roller coaster, to be general as i don't usually talk about things out loud when he asks us to tell aloud. But When my Six flags Astroworld (my home park previous to it's removal) was brought up people refered to it as a theme park and had very dumb reasoning behind why it was removed. Finally someone said Spiderman to which my teacher responded...."What is that?" I could only grind my teeth as these "nails" on chalkboards were spoken. Okay Sorry Back to topic just though that amidst the Spoiler topic and regular topic i would let us be UNiITED through our disbelief in some peoples knoweledge ;) in this case ignorance

Also the second thing i wrote was Spiderman and Expedition Everest even though technically they aren't at Amusement Parks

I like the new siggys disneyhead and felipe have, AWESOME job BBPH (yours is fantasic too) and I cant wait to see potterfanatics.

anyways, I strongly dislike the second thread (spoilerthread) because it is annoying to have to break apart our discussions. This entire topic is a spoiler so why should one ride get half special treatment (being that some details were revealed and discussed here already).

I think the sound of the vehicle, not having scene the pic, is fun. It is very interesting and I think the black surroundings were perfect to do.

So for those of you "in the know" does anyone know how long ago the picture of the ride vehicles was taken?

I'm curious as to how the benches will look as we're boarding. I think it would be just too cool if they were sort of slowly rising and falling in a cascade effect, and when they pull out, they kind of jerk up, and swish out, all in a very swift yet smooth motion. And is there a fireplace in the Room of Requirements...?

Considering I would hope that isn't the final paint job I would hope this is from awhile ago. But who knows it could be from today & the paint job is what is slowing FJ down from opening

If the paint job is slowing them down, I would speed to Universal TONIGHT and do it all for them. And I would do it so amazingly quick yet meticulous that the only way of repaying me would be to allow me to get a preferred pass instead of the power that I'm getting. xD

And that's great! Means a fireplace can be conjured right up. ;]

New topic: Rumored April 9th Soft Opening

How probable do you think this is? I mean, Hogsmeade seems to be done, seeing as how Ellen was able to film, and FotH and Dragon Challenge seemed finished too. I don't count on Forbidden Journey being open, but being able to see 3/4th's of it wouldn't be half bad. Do you think this will be opening up come the 9th?

I sort of confused as to why this keeps coming up... unless you don't believe me. A while back, I wrote extensively about truly wanting to hitch a ride with some friends to Florida for the 9 April and/or 13 April soft opening. As my funds were limited, I asked SAS (the person who started this rumor) to respond to both a public and private message basically asking how sincere this rumor was. I never heard back from him and he has not posted on the site since. I did hear from two insiders, one with a phone number to Universal (I called and confirmed this). Both insiders said that they wouldn't have come out of the shadows to contact me, but reading that I was truly risking some serious financial hardship on this road trip, that suggested I shouldn't: They both assured me that The Wizard World would not be running softs on those dates. They are simply not ready.

It is possible that they are incorrect, but it's unlikely.

You're right. It makes sense. Although an April softing would be amazing, I'm sure that May sounds more suitable.

BTW... the person I called at Universal was very kind, but clear that they couldn't divulge any additional information. They simply said: The Wizard World of Harry Potter is not scheduled to run softs until after April 13. Pressing didn't help my cause. I honestly believe them.

WHAT?! they actually told you a date of "after April 13th" :jaw: The only date I was give was when I was guaranteed by an operator that the Three Broomsticks would be open by/on the 28th of May, but that's kind of obvious... :bonk:

Yes. It was definitely made clear to me that softs would not start until after April 13. Their words were very close to: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will not be open to the general public in any capacity on either April 9 and/or April 13. They told me that if I was traveling to Florida specifically to see The Wizarding World, that it would be unwise to do so. They said that they would not discuss this further, but felt it important to contact me as I was very clear in my posts that this was going to potentially create a financial hardship. It was for that reason that they approached me.

I believe SAS was mistaken regarding those dates. As I have also kindly asked that he post and/or write me, and he's "disappeared", I suspect that his information was fraudulent.

Take a moment and really think about what SAS wrote and didn't write. With the exception of the obvious and known, what was "inside information - or lack of" proved SAS false. He didn't know about the Wednesday media event and his explanation was rather lame: he didn't want people to either "mob" the few web masters who gained access, but only wanted it to be understood as an opportunity to photograph the castle at night. Lame.

He could either have remained quiet, or have made it clear that something was up on Wednesday, but less significant than implied by Teebin's cryptic comments at the time. (Of course, to all of us, it was actually huge and a new chapter in information slowly being released about the attraction, food and general theming.)

I had been very excited about SAS's posts and truly believed them. I wanted to believe them. I don't anymore.

I'm with ya  but enough of SAS... :P

I fear general softs will not start until late April or early May :'( I hope that there will be AP previews and that they happen soon!
