You have two options, buy it as he last thing you buy or have it sent to the front of the park to be picked up by you later. I don't think they expect anyone to carry that around all day!!!

FJ has gotten up to a 120 minute wait so far today. Odds are, it is probably shorter but 120 is the posted wait. Single riders is still only 10 minutes though.

He once the primary conductor of this particular orchestra and in the beginning, there was much controversy and he nearly quit. Answer is: The Boston Symphony Orchestra

How long after the area opened to GP did it shoot up to 120min? How long was the wait before GP were let in, any ideas?

That is very strange being that he has ALWAYS used the London Symphony for his movie projects, that is weird.

Think he will pay homage to his former piece next door? JP  One of his greatest compositions of all time (FYI I know he won't play it, would just be cool)

Well, WWoHP opened at about 9:20 AM today. Somewhere around 9:30 AM, FJ was already at 90 minutes. As of 10 AM, FJ was at 120 minutes. Word is, Forbidden Journey did temporarily break down for a few minutes for hotel guests this morning.

Also, from @garry83: "Lots of suits and filming in Hogsmeade #potterwatch"

I think John should tour and do a best of. He's done so many great songs. Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Superman, Harry Potter, Jaws.... the list is extreme! I would buy a ticket.

Hello all!
I just saw a WWoHP commercial on TV...it was new to me, but then again, I haven't been watching much TV lately. It was basically just clips from the movies.

It could be a case of scheduling, logistics etc. The BSO is considerably more used to adapting to different venues and doing it very often summer and winter.

Over the past 30 years, he has done quite a few such tours honeybee. And he ain't getting any younger... or poorer if you get my gist. One PBS televised show back in the early 80's was over the top with him conducting live to the screen projections of many of the films he has scored. In between, he would talk about the whys and wherefores of the piece. It was very exciting.

I see it will be another fun filled day at the WWoHP hope everyone has fun. All the stars are aligning too bad they won't be close enough to touch or even hear since we will be pushed so far away. Oh well isn't that always the case the special people get even more special treatment & your average fan gets shafted out of all the good events.

I tried to get in yesterday. I got to IOA's gates a little after 8AM and waited until they let us in at 9AM. Rushed on over to the holding area where they told us it was not opening today to the general public. I sat and waited until 11:20am and finally gave up. People around me were saying FJ was closed or that by now, it was too late for it to open to the public. I had hope that it might open, but if FJ had been closed, it would've been wasted for me.

Of course, I find out when I get home that it opened about 10 minutes after I left. I was at Studios and a team member I had been talking to about it told me that around 3pm, a guy came in and said he had gotten in. But she had no way of contacting IOA to find out if it was still open, so I never headed over.

I guess I'm gonna try again this weekend! I want to get in before GO, so here's hoping I'll have better luck.

Wow, so even if we get there before rope drop the Monday after GO we should already expect the queue to be at least 90mins!

I do have one comment, what has happened to journalism that their facts are always so off. It is hogsmeade, there is even signs telling you that!!! Not Diagon Alley.

Thanks to everyone for the nice comments.

IzzyB, I know what you mean about journalisim and there facts. We told them that we are from Orange City. FL and I even saw her write it down correctly. The picture says we are from Orange County, FL.

Single rider line is the way to go. I rode FJ twice and it was about 15 minutes each time. Because the ride vehicles are on a magic carpet, they pull from single riders a lot, especially if you do get those stupid guests who hold up the line to take pictures of the Sorting Hat.

Such an exciting ride! The scenes with the dome screens did get me a little motion-sick, which doesn't happen even on simulator rides for me -- maybe this is due to the lateral motion of the ride vehicle messing with one's "horizon" a little, like when you're a kid in the car. Since I knew about the mechanics, I sat on the edge and peeked around a lot to see the other Kuka arms and ride vehicles -- actually in some scenes, they're right in front of you and easy to see if you know what to look for -- but it's spectacular to see how complex everything is.

I'm also amazed at how well we were able to figure things out on this board. Sure, many had inside information and had to give "hints", but a lot of what people deduced was based on common sense and logic. Well done.

And I'm sure it'd be more inexpensive to fly in the Boston Symphony Orchestra than the London one.

Either the park is dead today or everyone is WWOHP, I have been looking at wait times all week and this is the first time I have seen this. All rides are 5 minutes except Spiderman (35), Ripsaw Falls (10 - this has always been greater than 30), and Poseidons Fury (30 - which is closest to WWOHP). That just amazes me.
