Haha! Gotta say though....that's always annoyed me. They also used this actor for the Orlando promo videos. The "move along then" line gets under my skin. It's so pointless!

...Is it just me or why am I thinking we will see a big announcement on the opening date for Potter in less than a few weeks? It makes a lot of sense to announce it VERY soon and with the marketing push that's starting to form for this, it wouldn't be a shock that Universal is planning a Media event to announce the day of which the land opens.

I just watched the Forbidden Journey video in the interactive online experience and noticed that some shots were not new footage. I made a comparison of what was showed in the recent video and the video online that has been around for around a month. 

Maybe the footage is from Orlando? But doesn't look like that. (The 2nd photo is from Zero56 from a recent post about the video released a few days ago)

Although this photo is taken from outside Hogsmeade I believe it is related to the area.  This is the pathway starting near the restrooms in proximity to WaterWorld entrance that used to connect to The Gibson Amphitheater.  The chain link fence is down on both sides of the pathway in preparation for...landscaping?  Or paving?  I've always assumed this would be an overflow exit from Hogsmeade.   Anyone know for sure?  In the meantime there's nothing but common sense keeping someone from sneaking through those trees and inspecting further.  I absolutely do NOT suggest doing that.  Merely find it interesting that it's not more secure.

Because of the shirt I was wearing while at the park on Saturday morning, I couldn't resist. For those that aren't familiar, Amity Boat Tours (aka The Jaws Ride) was replaced by Diagon Alley in Orlando... so yea. -_-

Boy, that's heavy. I hope the two cars never meet up, that could cause a major paradox and lead to a chain reaction that could send the course of the Wizarding World's existence into question and it might revert back to the Gibson, and then it'll be the end of the universe as we know it!

Or the cars will just go into a state of shock from seeing itself and faint.

Construction walls surrounding the entrance to Hogsmeade have all been changed to look like a faux stone wall. Also, the Proclamation sign featured in Florida during WWoHP construction in 2010 that reads, "Magic at work, your patience is requested," has been placed on the new construction walls.

The new wall is so much more attractive than the old one.  I particularly like how the "vines" are growing on the wall.  Very nice detail.

Ollivander's is coming along nicely. Scenic is close to being done, shelves are fully stocked, effects being tested. It looks good. As for the size of the two Wandkeeper rooms, Orlando's Olli holds 27 muggles. The rooms here are completely different. They're longer, but more shallow. So it is unknown how many can fit in there, but it should be about the same. So with two Wandkeeper rooms, we're looking at about roughly 50 muggles at a time.

On a completely different note, I have an "uh oh" story in regards to Hippogriff. They've been cycling TWO trains, not just one. Well, apparently during testing today one of the trains didn't make it all the way around the track. It got about halfway through & then rolled backwards. :wacko:  Thankfully though, there was NOT a collision. My guess for the reason behind the rollback was due to wind. I know Rockit in Orlando has that issue when its windy & its a much larger/heavier coaster.
