If Forbidden Journey isn't able to operate for guests upon the land opening, the land isn't opening until it can. However if it does, but breaks down later they won't have to shut down the land. Literally everyday of softs will have to depend on when they get FJ up except for preview events of course.

There's also the possibility that management may shut down the land to test and adjust different settings of crowds, so if you go, go as early as possible.

To be clear, all walls are down at arch, crews are in costume but cleaning and nothing but a tiny chain is between me and entering.


But no, it's not a soft open yet. Tomorrow is looking far more realistic now.

I'm not surprised.  As long as at least Hogsmeade soft opens tomorrow, I'm fine.  But it would be extraordinary to be able to ride FJ tomorrow.  I remember Springfield soft-opened the Friday right before the Spring Break of 2015 as well, so it would make sense to see Potter soft-open the Friday before President's Day weekend!

With WWoHP starting softs presumably tomorrow, should there be a more..appropriate thread for Spoilers of their thoughts on WWoHP - Hogsmeade? I'd presume that it'd make some sense, considering forums like OU handled that for Diagon and Hogsmeade back then.


That said,


It feels so amazing to think that by the next month, I will be back at USH to finally experience Hogsmeade. My anticipation has been building all since 2010, and I can't wait to finally experience it..

It will be what they call a "technical rehearsal". Rides may (and likely will) shut down. And the area may be open only for a short time, close and then reopen for a short time. They will not post hours.

And from everything I have heard it will be open (on and off) all weekend IF things go well.
