Twitter is saying it's open but I haven't seen a picture of the gates letting people in yet.  Wouldn't it say closed on the wait time if it wasn't running?  I'm excited to see the addition on the display board.  Maybe soon it'll actually get a place on the map!

Attention [HASHTAG]#PotterWatch[/HASHTAG]: [HASHTAG]#WizardingWorldHollywood[/HASHTAG] is now listed on http://USHWaitTimes.com !"

5min wait listed for TFJ, does that mean it is open today?

Kind of random here, but why don't they ever promote Silly Swirly as a stand alone attraction? Seems like it could easily add bulk to the ride count. Universal Orlando seems to do that with Kang.

After riding FJ with the Quittich goggles on, I like the ride a whole lot better without the 3D. Those goggles are so annoying as the vehicle keeps bumping them. You can also still see below tge glasses and tge blurriness of the screens. The 3D doesn't add a lot more depth to it to make it worth wearing those glasses.

I agree. I wish it was still in 2D. The fixation the entertainment industry has when it comes to 3D is baffling.

Really liking the new facade. They must be working quickly as it was nowhere near that done when I was there yesterday.

Are they painting the area above the greenhouse/behind the Great Hall as well?

Are we the only iteration of Hogsmeade that's getting this sort of attention? Why did they wait until Hollywood's version to start correcting these things?

Just got back from my first visit to the Wizarding World. I loved it, it really does truly transport you and man pictures do not to justice. I would have never thought the revel of the castle would be that breath taking. The Queue was equally as impressive. Its not tight caverns and corridors the whole time. Those rooms are huge. The feelings are grand, its truly an awe experience.

The ride itself was mildly underwhelming. Did it twice. Im sure the timing will get adjusted through out. However I just feel the 3D was unneeded. I would rather get the lighting 20% darker and get a little more movement in there. Overall though its its mind blowingly impressive yet I still have to say my heart lies with Jurassic Park and Im not sure the ride itself is more reride able than Transformers. The one thing it lacks is the sense of speed in the 3D scenes.

I was super happy to see some of the sightline issues being taken cared of. Glad the show building issues are being addressed.

Also I didn't hear as many different soundtracks as I thought I would while being in the land.

Oh and Alan Gilmore was roaming around too!

I really appreciate them trying to address this, but I wish they had the foresight to redesign the show building so that the rock work extended all the way on either side. This is the third iteration of this attraction, and the fact that they're trying to fix the building now astounds me.

Shrek isn't a nuisance considering its age, but they had the opportunity to start anew with Wizarding World West and Forbidden Journey.

I 100% agree. I assume it would throw the scale off a bit.

The brick work is passable but its head scratching to wonder why when your spending 400m+ on a land to only go 90% and not fix issues from 6 years ago.

I will never understand why they didn't extend the rock work and add the rest of Hogwarts Castle. It's been mentioned before that it was a budget issue originally but I don't know why they didn't make any changes here or in Japan.

That's a great question. Are we the only ones?

It would sadly seem so, thankfully.

They are now letting regular guests into the world. AP previews were 9am-10:30am. I'm so excited! Hopefully they do this Monday, too! :)

While I appreciate the fact they're doing something to address Shrek and the FJ, I feel like the Walter Lantz building will now stand out so much more. That's been the worst sight-line issue since the get-go.

That's definitely something that will be solved with trees as time goes by. There's really not much you can do about it.

So they let regular guests into technical rehearsals at 10:30am, after 1.5 hours of an AP Preview. While I think this is great for regular guests, it's not much added value for an AP holder. Getting the "perk" of an AP Preview certainly has some value--less crowds, lower wait times--but if it's only for a 1.5 hour window, that doesn't seem to be all that great. I know I'm nit-picking here, but I think this is another indicator that Universal isn't really looking to build a large AP base. I'm not sure if I'm making sense, but I was surprised at the short duration for the AP Preview.
