I know soft openings are not always guarantied to happen, but do we expect the land to be open today?  

You can follow [HASHTAG]#PotterWatch[/HASHTAG] on Twitter to see when/if it will be open. Typically, someone will report in around 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Okay, so what are the standings for the remainder of time before the Grand Opening?  The Twitter user @NERDSLIKEUS is claiming it will be closed Friday 4/1, open Saturday and then closed for the rest of the time before the opening.  How reliable is that rumor?  I can easily see it true that the final week will be closed in preparations for all the big events.  I'm assuming it's open today because there are wait times but no one has declared it yet.  Should I update our list to reflect these new rumors?

Mon 3/28: ??? Anything??
Tues 3/29: AP Preview 9am
Wed 3/30: AP Preview 9am
Thurs-Mon 3/31-4/4...??? Anything???
Tues 4/5 Evening Red Carpet Premiere

It was open today, and upon exiting at about 3pm, there were lots of TM just outside the land giving fairly detailed exit surveys.

Well I went to the wisardinf world today for the first time.i loved it!!! The only thing that was a bummer was that I wasn't able to ride forbidden journey because of my size, the seat outside got the green light but once inside I failed the fat test

If you got the green light you should have been able to fit. Try the 3rd seat from the left next time. I got red lights at both test seats still fit on.

Also try having a friend or family member with you that can push down on the bar once you sit, its hard to pull it down do to the angle, and the cast members are told to not help for legal reasons.

I had someone with me .they didn't let her push down the lap bar ..bunch of clowns oh well local gym here I come

Well, they are Hogwarts Students.... They are also trying to be safe because if the restraint doesn't come down far enough and you don't get of quick enough, they have to stop the ride.    Anyway, hope you get to get on the ride soon, because IMO it is one of the best rides in the world.

What's it looking like for a possible Friday April 1 visit having potter be open? As far as any knowledge of scheduled private events go for that day.  I understand that Twitter user claiming it to be closed, but not sure how much I should trust it.

Twitter has announced that the Time Entry test has ended for the day. How does this work exactly? If you leave and want to return later, you can get a ticket, right? What if you arrive late to the park- do you still need to get a ticket when you first arrive?

If I remember, Time Entries when you get one of the tickets; is a select time that you can enter Hogsmeade. Orlando & Japan does this for capacity reasons, and if you are late to the park; like 3 PM on a busy day, you may not be allowed admission to WWoHP.

In orlando a separate stand bye queue was available if you didn't have a return ticket.

The time return system was in use today, but it was pretty pointless. Guests could only enter Hogsmeade if they had a time return ticket, but if you went to go get one, the return time was literally for the time you were retrieving your ticket. I was at one of the machines getting a ticket at 1:18 PM today, and the return times I could pick between were 1:20 PM and 1:30 PM. It's possible this was just for testing purposes so team members could get a hang of things in order to prep for summer crowds, but it was just a bit of a hassle.

It was part of the technical rehearsal - team members learning the ins-and-outs of the system. That's kinda what technical rehearsals are for, isn't it? Those of us luvky enough to visit WWoHP before it opens should expect some hassles.
