In regards to the early entry to Harry Potter that starts next week for online ticket purchases, does anyone know if annual pass members get early entry as well?

I am blocked out for opening day and had to purchase a family/friends AP discount ticket to attend. I would also like to know if I have early entry.

Yesterday I went to Guest Services at the park and I asked them if my AP will allow me early entry even if I bought it before the EZ Rez system was established and they insisted any tickets bought online will be given early entry.  I'm not sure how I prove my pass was an online purchase but they seemed confident I could get in.

Just got back from the park and Tom Felton was there just casually walking around. He filmed something real quick in front of the castle. Didn't see any other cast members though.


Also, call me crazy but I actually don't mind the mural of trees on Shrek. After seeing it in person, I think it looks just fine and blends relatively well.

Oh and it seems like they aren't going to be painting the wall above the greenhouse to look like bricks. I think they're just keeping it white unless the painting crew hustles. Which is a shame.

I actually like the new mural on the Shrek building.  The trees in front already blend pretty well, even with scaffolding.  It will obviously be better without though.

so i've seen pics with everything being set up for the red carpet...& supposedly saturday is the last tech rehearsal..does anyone think it will be open all day? i heard it closed early today..

What do you guys think we can expect for Opening Day?  There's usually a ceremony outside before they open the gates, right?  Then madness ensues.  The warm Butterbeer and Firewhisky should officially debut.  Is there anything else we're still missing?  Also do you think there might be anything special available for April 7th only?

It's just that previously several Twitter users claimed that this Saturday was the last tech rehearsal before going dark until the Grand Opening.  Did they change plans now?  Is there going to be filming or something tomorrow?

In case anyone was wondering, it was closed today.  Or at least while I was there (I left the park around 2PM).  The hedges were up in addition to the chains/stanchions, so it looked highly unlikely that it was going to open later.

Tons of huge fireworks just went off! It was amazing! They also had projection mapping on the castle! It is going to be awesome on Tuesday! Pics to come soon.
