I can understand why some people wouldn't be too ecstatic over a HE attraction but really the appeal comes from the fact you're experiencing something that Harry, Ron, and Hermoine experienced throughout the films. In many regards the Hogwarts Express symbolizes the start of a Journey, heck the final scene of the entire Series involves their children boarding the HE to head to Hogwarts to start their own adventures. I can't even imagine how I will be (probably an emotional wreck) once i'm able to visit USO again to experience it.

^ OK, see, I'm getting chocked up just by reading and imagining myself on the train. It's....like a spiritual awakening.

Speaking as a very intense Potter fan, I absolutely loved the Hogwarts Express and the experience it offered as a whole. I could go on forever about the attention to detail and my admiration for it. No surprise there. With that set aside, if you don't like Harry Potter or its respective theme park attractions, then we'll agree to disagree; just don't demean those who enjoy it.

I think the issue's been magnified a bit. You should be fine, don't worry about it.

I'm one that shrugs my shoulders at Hogwarts Express. It's fine, but nothing impressive or innovative. Just a money grab. Which is smart by Universal. I've been on the ride multiple times and honestly, I'd rather just walk back and forth between the two parks.

Yeah I haven't ridden it yet, but I think it's neat at the very least. For a "glorified monorail", you could do so much worse.

I don't see it as a money grab, even though technically it is. Not everything has to be ultra innovative and ground breaking. Although in my opinion it really is because it's connecting two lands and two theme parks with a mutual connection from the films and books in a brilliant way. I guess you have to be a Potter fan, because for us, walking in Harry and friends' footsteps and making the same journey is amazing.

Looked to me like the scaffolding around the train station (the lockers) was being taken down.

These buildings with new snow were getting washed.  I pondered here months ago if they were occasionally going to have to do that since the LA air can be so dirty.

I really hope that doesn't become a problem. The fake snow on the Christmas shop façade on Baker Street can get pretty nasty, as well.

Snitchseeker just posted an article 2 days ago what we might see in our WWOHP version ..

How would they incorporate Diagon Alley into our version of Hogsmeade? All I can think of is a different shop roster, which wouldn't make sense given Japan's perfected roster.

Maybe they're talking about some interactive wand elements?

Wouldn't they have just referenced Orlando's Hogsmeade, then, since they have interactivity there too?

I'm posting this here because the point of this shot is to show there is no scaffolding visible in Hogsmeade when entering the park.

While some work continues using boom lifts there is a significant portion of the exteriors that are essentially done.

It's nice to have a view of the Hogsmead and Hogwarts from the entrance. It can get any guest or fan excited. But at the same time, it kinda sucks it doesn't have its own corner.

I'm not ungrateful what so ever though. I'm glad USH is finally getting WIzarding World (even after it's six years after Orlando :( ).

And in the Snitchseeker article they may be talking about, in my opinion the Butter Beer ice cream or more innovation. It would be cool if they found a way to implement Diagon Alley into USH in the future. Somehow......Oh come on I can dream right?

I think they would be crazy to leave out things like the ice cream or Gilly Water. They have already put it through R&D, it's ready to go. Give it to as many as possible. I guess time will tell though.

I hope we also get all of the interactive elements/wands as well. It'd be cool to own a wand that can work in Florida AND Hollywood!
