I would expect we'll have a solid foundation by the end of August or second week in September. It will take them at least another two weeks to have the entire area excavated and prepped for pouring. I'd give them another week for the whole thing to set and then have them move in more/different equipment, and then the walls and support structure should start to go up.

Based on the pace they've been moving, I think it is very likely. Of course, that is probably what best case would be. If we have any nasty weather in the near future...that could set it back days or more depending on the severity.

Supposed to be a quiet hurricane season which bodes well for all current projects (all require foundations.) Once foundations are in place, rain becomes less of a bother. Gringotts will be the first vertical construction as the foundation is already underway.

Well where could hey put the train at for permanent home? And someone on here has taken a pic of the Delorian out in front of Hard Rock back when the walls for this were starting to show up...

While that may have been true on that day, I haven't seen it in front of hard rock at all and I have been going almost weekly... must be backstage near hard rock then... or they donated it to them waiting for a spot to be set up for it permanently?

Moving right along. Are they only running one shift or two? With the pile driving I would think thats just one shift due to the noise and neighbors.

I think they are going 24/7 right now. That's the last word I heard about it.

I believe loud and heavy stuff like pile driving is taking place during typical daytime hours, while prep/cleanup and lighter stuff like hauling away/exchanging dirt is happening at night. Also, I believe the crane is mostly being used at night from what I've been able to observe. When I've been there during the day, I've only seen it move once, and that was to turn the boom from over the construction site to back over Finnegan's.
