I saw some trucks while in the park today. I'm floored they are bringing in trucks during park operations. I don't know if I've ever seen that at another theme park and closing down streets to move the vehicles around as well.

Crazy.

I might usually scoff at the trucks in other areas of a major themepark, but these seem to work with the NYC backdrop. Plus, the tourists walking by seem fascinated. Sure the week of sheetpiles was obnoxious but overall, I think this works as a kind of attraction in itself because of the trucks. Anyone else?

It makes me think of them putting the construction on the park map as an attraction.

I agree that the trucks and construction fit the NYC area perfectly.

I was amazed by the amount of tourists taking pictures of the trucks!

Something else I noticed today that's related to the construction is the changes it's forced the Blues Brothers Show to make. The Blues Mobile now takes an extra long route from the parade gate through Hollywood, Production Central and finally stops behind the bus stand in New York next to the taxi.

Well they never did announce it as Transformers yet...maybe they're just building a multi-level garage for all these vehicles to house them when they aren't being used in the Construction Trucks Parade.

It really is amazing to see what it is now and know 2 months ago the soundstage was still standing.
