Epic pics as always, Bobwadd!

I laughed when I kept noticing that your watermark was never in the same corner of the photos.

Thanks!

I tried to keep the watermark unobtrusive yet not easily cropped out. Wish I didn't have to use one at all but my pics have ended up on other sites without credit or preferably a link to this thread.

Does anyone have a nice size zoom lens? If you can see in those picture towards the end you can see inside their little shed that had the plans in it and if you look close you can sort of see something. Does it look like concept drawings? It's hard to tell from looking at it on my iPhone but can anyone else see it. Or if anyone has above size lens to get a closet shot, 500mm anyone : )

That would be the "document shed". And those are blueprints you see.
I have a lens capable of shooting them. Getting the shot is the issue.

I have a 300mm lens that could probably get in close enough that with a 10MP image you could blow it up enough to see the details, but I don't have a moveable live-view screen to adjust on the fly (I assume Bob and others with similar pictures are holding their cameras above the wall in some manner, like seeming to adjust a tripod, as I'm tall, but not enough to reach over the wall with a confident grip on my camera.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, ...

As always, should you or any of your I.M. Force be caught or killed, the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions. This message will self-destruct in five seconds. Good luck

How tall would you guess the wall is? I havent seen in person yet but will be there in 2-1/2 weeks. I plan on giving it a try with my tripod and remote shutter release. Just raise that puppy up and shoot in 10fps second mode and ill be able to get 10 shots before I could even blink lol.

I would say they wall is built with standard 4' x 8' sheets. Here is a photo for reference.

Below is an enhanced crop form the original image. Sorry, it's the best I can do.

I would guess a little over 7' since I'm 6'2 and decently long arms but still don't feel comfortable putting my camera up there, especially with my heavy 300mm on.

EDIT: Yeah, Bob is right, probably closer to 8'. I tried and can almost get my camera high enough, but my grip wasn't sure. I know I decided I wouldn't do it with just my hands again.

No need to be sorry at all. You have gotten some amazing shots of all this construction as it is

Im only 5'7" so I would need some go go gadget arms to even come close without a tripod

Referencing it to something I'm more familiar with reaching up to (volleyball nets), I believe its shy of 8', closer to 7'6". I can tip my hand over a women's net on tip-toes easily, and that is 7'4".

Nah, it is standard 4x8 sheets just like Bob said. That is trade standard and it would make absolutely no sense to buy a thousand 4X8 sheets of ply-whatever and shave them down by 6 inches. This is wham-bam and they do the job.
