What are those "windows" all over in random places? They almost look like vents!

They are vents. A lot of show buildings have such things but we typically don't see them as the show building is either completey hidden or partially hidden enough not to need such vents. This is a show building that will be seen from all sides(still hoping we get some facade work out of it by the time it is open.

I'm pretty sure at least one or two of those vents are directly behind computer/film rooms. Before it was completely finished I noticed a few niches around the exterior walls with what looked like massive server rack structures and projection enclosures with tons of piping. I would bet most of those vents, actually, are behind such equipment.

Is the building getting a complete facade or do we not yet know?

Despite Universal really hitting it out of the park with the construction, I'd be disappointed if they didn't properly theme the building.

One thing that was revealed is that there is going to be a giant Optimus Prime statue guarding the entrance. Maybe HTF knows something we don't :look:

Yeah, I'm hoping for a New York facade, not another soundstage look. I'm curious as to what they'll do because that building is rather... Large. :stunned:

Sky scrappers would do the job, certainly needs to be something tall. The above shot gives a fantastic

I always thought this too, although I don't think they will do something that elaborate. Cut-out's or something might do the trick though, the same kind you see at the very end of the street when you first walk into the park.

I don't think it needs to look any taller, just less like a giant white building which I know it will/should by the end. I already think its size puts it out of place regardless of theming.

Agreed. A huge part of it is how tall the boring building is compared to soundstages in the area that at least look like soundstages and are not as tall.

I am still hoping for facade coverings and theming but I am beginning to fear that it is not happening.

Now that the facade is a solid surface the themeing and finishes should go quick, I would think.

Maybe. If they have until July than for sure. They could just roll them out on large flatbeds/cranes as prefabs and bolt them to the building. Maybe some of it will be dimensional paint.

Stucco goes on pretty quick, and cuttting in lines to make look like brick or stone wouldn't take that long, considering they are going 24/7. If that is route they are going, I now nothing.
