Just bought myself an Allspark from the store and let me just say...it's awesome. The store was very tight and tough to move around in and that was only with a few guests who wondered in. It's going to be fun when the ride is dumping guests in in every 30 seconds.

Doesn't look like a very spacious gift shop...

It's really not but i'm hearing that carts will have some of the high demand items

I really hope not but there was a big black door towards the back of the store that has me worried.

I couldn't get a straight answer on this either, i'll find out if this is the exit of the attraction or not.
Like mentioned before the Hollywood park doesn't have a store attached and this isn't the first attraction to not have it that USF has (cough cough Simpsons) The new merch push over attractions feels like the place is becoming an interactive shopping mall with the new focus on unique shopping and eating

Well, what about the door facing the lagoon? Is that a door to the gift shop as well, or is the door facing Mel's the only way in or out of the gift shop? If yes, than that might be a clue as than it would make sense that the door facing the lagoon would be the exit to the ride.

Lagoon side door was open.

I do not believe that single door is large enough to be the ride exit. It would have to be a least a double door.

I think that it is an exit thru the gift shop. there was a temporary wall up on the back wall, I don't have a picture of it, but its about the size of 2.5 doors. right now it has the transformers logo on it, and I heard employees saying that the wall with the logo is going to be removed.

I saw that and asked the cashier and couldn't get a straight answer. It's to the right of the registers.

If it is an exit store it's only really intended to flow out and not allow people back in. Even Dis follow that design. I.E. Splash and Buzz.

I agree. I love the bunker look of the store, but it's going to be a nightmare walking through there after you ride given how narrow it is.

The USH store isn't big either. This one actually looks a bit nicer. The main difference though is this is connected to the building while the USH shop is right in front of you when you walk out the exit of the ride.

EDIT: However, for an exit store, it is WAY too small, I agree.
