04/01/2011 - With Universal flush with money thanks to the Wizarding World, it looks like they are now focusing their attention on upgrading the Studios. With the knowledge of the impending closure of Jimmy Neutron, the biggest eyesore in the park seems to be in their sights now. The old Murder She Wrote/Herc and Zena building, which has sat vacant for more than 6 years since it was last used at Halloween Horror Nights 15 is next for development. From my sources I have heard that there are several different ideas being thrown around. First off, and the most exciting, would be to re-incorporate the Back to the Future franchise back into the park. Universal took some heat when they removed the iconic attraction, and since the current meet and greet is next to the building already, this would seem an obvious fit. No word on what the attraction would be, but I know many fans would love for Back to the Future to make a return. Secondly, would be a Tonight Show style experience, where a host basically hosts a tonight show type of attraction, similar to the former ABC Soundstage attraction that was in Hollywood Studios. Guests would be chosen from the audience to replay iconic sketches from the Tonight's Show history. And lastly, the worst of all of the ideas, was to just completely demolish the entire building, and recreate another boneyard type of attraction, with large cars and props from former Universal films. This sounds the least likely as the Boneyard was less frequented than the Rockit's current express line is. So what do you guys think?
