I really hope this ends up not being a year round haunt. Sounds lame to me. I'm not really overboard for Transformers, but I think it would work well. Not sure why so many are against it just because it is similar to Spidey. I mean, Dragon Challenge has the same "tech" on both of its coasters and they share the same que. A different ride at a different park sounds pretty, different, to me. In the end it would really help disperse crowds away from HP part I and would be another reason to get families with boys age 8-18 away from the mouse for a day when they come to Orlando. And they would be much more likely to get 2 park passes as opposed to the IOA/HP one park tickets I'm sure tons of people get while on thier "Disney" vacation. Although, HP part II is going to do a great job at this once its open.....

I honestly don't care what they do with the space, it's better than nothing at all. I'd personally like to see transformers, or sometype of ride, but i really don't care what goes there.

Hop? So Universal took a good 100 steps forward with the incredible work done with WWOHP and with DM, and now they're just gonna milk Hop? That's easily a good 75 steps back. Incredibly disappointed.

I personally am very happy about Hop. There are no other Easter-themed rides in Orlando. It will fill a niche that people are clamouring for. :rofl:

But seriously, I will actually be excited if it is a permanent haunt. Universal has certainly shown a commitment to themeing and attention to detail in all of their attractions lately (Despicable Me cue, for example). So I'd expect them to make a haunted attraction that is at least visually stunning. Now of course, it's harder to say if they will address the understaffing issue they apparently have in Hollywood.

Why would they need ANOTHER dark ride? Maybe our definitions are different but every single ride in USF is a dark ride with the exception of HRRR. Just curious
