I don't have video, but I saw them in action.

I'm not exactly to best person to ask when it comes to mechanics.. Forgive the non-techinical terms, and the shortness of the answer, but I believe it was hydraulics.

Hydraulic lifts are typically the smoothest and the ones that you feel moving the least.

Pretty sure they were hydraulic. Definitely not cable.
