awesome!!! this definitely makes me feel better about missing transformers in oct when I was there.. (couldn't convice myself to give up a Disneyland day since it was my first time there)

I might have spotted an error, maybe not, but isn't NEST, & the NEST facility a seperate entity from Sector 7? & in either TF 1, or 2, dont they at some point say Sector 7 was decomissioned, hence why agent Simmons now works at a butcher shop in part 2? I say this because we all know that the ride & ride building is supposed to be in "NEST", yet there is a sector 7 logo on one of the signs from the ride queue-

I just watched Revenge of the Fallen & Simmons does in fact say to Sam "You're the case that shut down Sector 7.", so having a Sector 7 logo on the sign does in fact conflict with the fact that wer're supposed to be in NEST, NOT Sector 7, so it's definetelly a mistake.

Could it be possible that when designing the ride, they were considering Sector 7 to be the setting for the ride, but later switched it to NEST?

Good news Hmmm, I wonder if this means the inside queue will be more elaborate, or is it the ride itself that will be better. So many tantalizing questions....

Based on the original expectation set (was it Coup at the announcement who implied it?), I would agree with what you call this outcome. A missed opportunity. Could add value to such a central area of the park at a time where everything else is being done with great care and attention.

To me I looks like its meant to be for signage as in nest signage or what ever they call the secret building in the movie. Just due to their position in a line with the concrete pieces running vertical. I will pop in my copy of the 3rd film and see if there are any similarities.

I feel as though those bars/slats will be used to either hang more themed pillar pieces like those in the second photo, or perhaps conduit to fit the theme of the NEST building.

Yes, there were similar bars installed on the Despicable Me facade to hang the odd shaped banners and signs.
