Trust me, I come from another theme (amusement) park discussion forum and it's much worse there.

I don't see anybody being as negative as you say they are. At least the complainers aren't saying things like, "Universal is completely messing up the ride. Won't be visiting anymore."

So your getting on me for being one of the people that are actually positive about Universal?..I'm not just making it up i see it every day on here.

Thanks for the pics guys. I don't know what to make of this thing. In some shots I like it, and in others I'm confused and overwhelmed. I do like the wide shots though, do that's encouraging. Still not sure about the ducts.

Is it the numbers on the side of the building that's confusing so many people?

I honestly do like the extensions of the building i.e. where optimus will stand and the outside queue. The design is quite simple but it is nice. It will take some getting used to looking across the lagoon from MIB though. But it will be worth it!

You guys do have to admit though, there is way too much negativity on here sometimes. There isnt that many things really that bad about Universal but sometimes it seems like people try to find whatever they can just to be negative and rag on things. Now i get that nothings perfect and sometimes it's healthy to point out flaws but it's just too much sometimes. Personally i find it useless to get on a forum about theme parks and be negative but that's just my opinion. Again i know everything is not rainbows and unicorns but i just try to focus on the positive things or how it could be better if i dont like something.

Glad yall like the pics. In case I havent said it before, I couldnt be any more excited for how this is going to look, it has FAR exceeded my expectations. The pics dont do it justice, you just have to see it in person to further appreciate the epicness of it. Ahead of schedule? It sure looks like it. Goodnight all!!!!

I was there tonight. All I can say is it looks very "Transformers-ery!". I LIKE IT! I guess some don't. That's cool.

Hoped you enjoyed my Twitter pics from earlier.

Any way, I got home just past midnight so I'll post this shot tonight and the rest in the morning. I'll have various updates in the usual threads. G'night.

They're going around the building starting from the production central side, to shrek, to lagoon, and now it looks like they might be dropping Prime in place any day now.

I love it! At first, I was skeptical when all they added was prints and a barcode, but now it looks awesome!

So I'm just going to say this for the newer members on here who are talking about "negativity" and pretty much saying we're bashing for no reason...

You realize that some of the people you're talking about being bashers of Uni have been accused of being Uni fanbois? I, myself, am included in that. People are going to have different opinions. You can't say that people aren't allowed to say how they still don't like the look of the building when you yourself are saying how you still love the look of the building. The only "negativity" on this site is coming from those who are creating conflict based on what they "see". I don't like the building, but I'm certainly not getting all over those who do like it. Show some respect.

You're confusing negativity with what's actually nitpicking or just disliking something. The nitpicking comes from having a deep passion and interest for theme parks. And there's always going to be people with different tastes and opinions; not liking something doesn't make someone a negative person. Let's not get judgmental / personal. What makes OU great is having diverse people with diverse opinions and tastes, all respecting each other

PS: Everyone should check out the Forum Etiquette thread

Well it looks cool to me... just worried that I missed some pointed message from the movies. I guess it is like the bar code. Although... what year did the bar code go into heavy use in the USA and what year did Hasbro introduce Transformers? Hmm. I could google it to death but I will let you peeps-with-pep do it.

Was the Transformers toy the first toy product packaging to have a bar code... and is THAT the bar code that it had?

And The Transformers brand we know over here was actually the merging by Hasbro of 3 different Takara toy lines  I agree the building is looking better and better. Those door lifts look quite cool.

Maybe we'll get Optimus above the entrance and Evac on the ground level :look:
