I think the TM was pointing at Frenzy telling him to move away.

Oh these are probably closer to the tune of 30-35k each. Lots of sculpting, mold making, fitting, changing, painting etc going into these. Not to mention they have to be super lightweight yet durable. So probably using a combination of FRP, carbon fiber, and vacuformed parts.

I'm gonna take your word on this one, oh and nice avatar

As a stilt walker I'm super jealous of those amazing costumes. At the same time however, I don't envy how long it must take to get suited up in those.

I don't have any insider info (Man, I wish I had birds like Teebs does), but it seems like the ride SHOULD be softing WAY before May. I'm personally hoping for Softs in early April....doesn't seem impossible at the rate their going (heck, Softs could start as early as the end of March if we're lucky). Anybody else wanna chime in?

Take this for what it is (third-hand information), but I "know someone who knows someone" who's working on TF, and he told me they're running behind. Something about the ride vehicles not working properly, and that they're perplexed seeing as they've built this ride twice already. They seem to think it won't be ready for riders until May.

Oh man, I really hope that this isn't true. My school has a trip in April and it would suck if it wasn't softing when I went.

I think people hoping for softs any time before very late April/early May are kidding themselves.

Remember, just because the outside looks basically done, doesn't mean there's not still lots of work to do on the inside. Just look at the recent pictures of the Moe's interior for proof of that.

Yep, I would believe it when you throw in the original sculpting for USS or USH, whoever came first. But at this point, they are merely reproducing them from said molds. I recall reading that the well-healed company in WA or OR that creates them, saying that it was a very challenging project.

You could make a cosplay... I found this photo of someone who did a pretty good one:

That's what I said. For all we know, the ride construction hasn't even started (of course it has, but I'm just saying, you can't tell just from the outside!).
