I was thinking the same thing. I'm Orlando next week and I will make sure I'm at the park that morning just in case.

My thaught has always been that Optimus being an AA/statue with just head movement is just a rumor until we see otherwise. Alot of people thaught thered be a Bumblee, but turned out not being true. I'm just excited over getting a full scale Optimus in ANY capacity, moving or not. But if IT does turn out to be electronic, thatll just be an added bonus for me!

& I was the 1st to suggest softs will probably occur on the 23rd with NBC being there, but hey, the sooner, the better, & I look forward to hearing from everyone who will be there this weekend!!! KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON THAT WALL IN THE VAULT!!!!!

Yep, I am wondering how they'll do it.

I mean right off the top of my head what I would do is have the head, waist, and solders move. All being cable driven, with the actuators actually inside the building. Then all the is outside would be just about water proof, just need some lube from time to time after the park closes. Then for major maintenance, the think is a statue :thumbs: as it is happening out of site out of mind

We saw him there, my wife really enjoyed it. She has multiple pictures of course. Megatron came out yesterday, 5-14-2013, he looked awesome.

All I know is my friend is on the Transformers opening team and they just steped foot into the building for the first time today, sooo next week is doubtful, to me anyways.

It takes less than a week to train those people so softs next week could happen. The supervisors and technicians have been cycling the ride for a while now.

So, no chance of softs starting tomorrow I gather if full team training just started today. I've been hoping for 5/17 for a couple weeks now since tomorrow is a day off work for me.

It's a valid question. It's really the same ride system, but the team has to be signed off at their ride as the consoles will be a little different, the positions are all a little different. So for safety's sake everyone has to go through the full training (Even those who have been running it for the past few months for testing)
