This is behind only SS2 on my hype list. The rumors of the sets being massive ala Blood Moon/DMP, the amount of gore/creative kills rumored, the whole concept intrigues me.

I just imagine The Devil's Rejects in a fancy gated community or development.

Very interested to hear more story details in the podcast. Children triplets murdering their entire family is rather disturbing and dark, even for HHN.

Although I do have a small theory that's more than likely me just overanalyzing as usual, but I think it's still fun and interesting to think about:

The Triplets murder their family as children, and here in Sinister/Surreal's nightmare realm, it's recreated with them now murdering the entire neighborhood years later.

OK so what I have so far for 3s:
1. Triplets (obvs)
2. 9th Birthday Party (3 + 3 + 3)
3. March (3rd Month)

And the original murders happened on 1984, recommitted every 10 years. I thought it was strange as to why they didn't pick something like 1983 but by starting in 1984 + every 10 years, that puts us at 2024, HHN 33

I think there's going to be a lot of fun details in this house

While I'd like to reserve judgement until I've seen the whole thing, Universal seems to be okay with these tours so I'm okay giving and early opinion.

It's giving "We couldn't get the rights for a slasher this year". And it feels like they're taking a stab at an original Blumhouse-style or Halloween-style house, but without the memories of the IP and the iconic recreations of movie moments, I think it's a commonly-held belief (correct me if I'm wrong) that these houses are regarded as "middle-of-the road". I do hope the story elements are as legible as possible during the show light levels of the event, as I think the conceit of the story and the cribbing of "Murder Podcast" vibes are quite genius, so long as they don't get lost in the sauce of a rote slasher house.

I told y'all not to sleep on this! Very fun and intense house. Not quite as bloody as I was hoping (surprisingly that goes to Major Sweets and Monstruos) but it's got some good gore!

A lot of sets feel recycled from the various Halloween houses, as well as every other suburban slasher house of the past 15 years. The podcast element feels like it should've been queue video/audio. And felt on the short side, rare these days.

FWIW, I didn't like it that much first time too (although that might be cus it was my first house and I was just processing everything still). It's one of those houses where it's much better on a 2nd run now that you know what's going on.

I won't defend that, cus as much as I do already love this house, you shouldn't have to do any house more than once for it to be 'good'. This one they should've definitely made a podcast to help clarify the story.

This was my first house as well. It was a good house but not amazing. I only went though it once so interesting to go through it again to know what’s going on. Feel like I missed a lot on my first run.
