SeaWorld is starting to share some more information. In this firstnew video it seems that SeaWorld is sharing some more mockups. They also show a glimbs of the dome as it is right now. Looking forward to more video's :)

We’re excited to share the first of many “webisodes” about the different aspects of TurtleTrek, opening this spring at SeaWorld Orlando. From this overview to dome construction to animation and the animals you'll find here, these videos will give you an insider’s look into how this amazing attraction will come to life.

Remember, TurtleTrek is going to be the world’s first 3D, 360-degree domed theater experience that takes you on a sea turtle’s incredible journey and invites you to become an everyday hero.
Take a look…

It looks awesome. The park definitely needed some updates like this.

Wow the concept are looks great, and the dome has me SUPER intrigued. I will say, I kind of wrote off the 3D show when they announced it, but after seeing this I am like... OK whoa...

This looks like a great improvement on the already interesting manatee exhibit. And I've had the idea that a dome like this, on a smaller scale, could work well with a simulator underneath. Possibly that could be the next implementation of this technology.

Awesome video! Thanks for the update! :rep:

Indeed this will be an awesome exhibit. The manatee exhibit was easily the most underrated exhibit in the park, I'm glad to see it's getting the exposure it deserves. With this, and Anartica opening in 2013, SeaWorld will prove, yet again, that they are Florida's greatest park. Maybe I'm a little biased.

 Your name alone implies so... Haha! I thought SeaWorld was a nice park when I visited it a few years ago; it did have its dead spaces, but the exhibits were nice. I actually have been wanting to go for a while. The last time I went, Manta was still under construction, so I've been dying to ride it! Once this Turtle 4D attraction opens, I'm definitely making a trip to check out the park again :D

Is this where the remote control boats used to be? I can't seem to remember.

^ Gracias! Ehh just going by the pictures its an eye sore but I would have to see it in person to give a true opinion.

Yeah it does look very much thrown together. It doesn't fit with the direction they seem to be taking the park, so I'd be surprised if it stays, at least in its current state.

I talked with someone at SeaWorld yesterday about this, and t seems this is long term temporary. It isn't a real eyesore from an atmosphere point of view. Honestly I kind of stumbled upon it and was oh... this is here. There are no big signs or anything letting you know there is an attraction there. lol

SeaWorld just posted this "webisode" of recent construction of TurtleTrek

Just looking at that structure is SPECTACULAR!! Thanks for posting! :rep:

Reminds me of the dome screen at the Orlando Science Center, but this is gonna be in 3D! I can't wait to be inside there! :D
