Thanks now that you mention I remember those lines being discussed. Next to SNW, HTTYD is shaping up to be a kinetic feast for the eyes.

1. Flame effect on statues
2. Roller coaster going around the entire land, under bridges, through water
3. Sky flyers
4. Possible animatronic dragons

Just drove by on Sand Lake, the signature twisting roll thing (the highest point on the coaster) is almost complete.

This coaster looks quite thrilling.

If Universal wanted to stop drone footage, wouldn't they have done so by now? We've been getting up-close drone footage of the parks for months.

Drones follow different laws than helicopters do. I assume a drone could be rather dangerous to someone like Bioreconstruct!

Drones cannot fly as high as helicopters do. Even with the enforced height limit, it's also not physically possible. You don't see helicopters flying at 30,000ft with jumbo jets

Helicopters are supposed to stay above 1000 feet for safety but I can tell you that my drone is capable of reaching 1640 feet w/ minimal effort.
If everyone is following the rules it shouldn't be a problem

Bio uses a helicopter (which is legal). Flying a drone over people working is not. I believe Cygnus also used a drone, but it never flew over the actual site, only using a zoom lens. There’s a difference and it’s FAA regulations, not Universal that would be the issue.
