I’m really confused and don’t know who to believe because your saying it’s canceled and then Joe saids it’s not.
Different sources giving different info isn’t too uncommon. I’m taking the wait and see approach that it’s Schrodinger’s flat ride until I see what actually gets built.
I’m just stating that I believe we will either get a carousel, or some other sort of flat ride for the hub, but that there is only room for one in the space.
We can take bets on which one it’ll be, but while I hope it’s a carousel, last I heard it is not. Or at very least, it’s not THE carousel that was initially planned like 3 years ago, but maybe the merry go round thing Joe is speaking about was and is the replacement to the “fancy” carousel from years ago. In which case, technically, we all have the same info, but have interpreted it differently.
Now, having said all that, Tommy’s theory of the water splash thingy is interesting because not only did he show that the footprint for the off the shelf version fits recent construction perfectly, but that new concept art kind of looks like that type of ride.
BUT! The artist that created that art says in their portfolio that they only worked for Epic during the early blue sky phase, so that may simply be one of several early explorations.
But that’s the fun of theme park rumors. We have so much info, that we actually technically know nothing.
