I do like the ideas of different regions being a basis for the different sections of the park. As
@jseal777 said, an Asian themed area that features Tokyo feat. Hello Kitty & Super Nintendo World, and China feat. Kung Fu Panda would work well IMO. A similar Europe area featuring Middle-Earth, Scandinavia feat. Berk, and Transylvania feat. Universal Monsters would be cool too. I'm not sure what other regions/IPs would work besides those two, however.
