I think at this point UC is pouring all their resources into the new park and any major expansions at the old parks are on the back burner for now. However since pets is being built in USH it would be easy to clone it in USF.

Yeah, you’re probably right. Honestly, I could see the Dragons attraction just end up being a stationary simulator with multiple theaters, given it’s based on a children’s IP.

Harry Potter is also a seven-billion dollar grossing film franchise with PG-13 movies. I’m not saying I don’t want them to build a full dark ride, I’m just saying they may not see building one for HTTYD as lucrative as their other IP’s.

HTTYD is a lot bigger than the movies. It's got a long running/successful show on Netflix for kids. I think people are seriously underselling how Universal sees that franchise

Probably because the books never got popular enough for most people to already know about them before trailers for the movies came like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.
