A couple of thoughts on that...

One, they could just create an attraction based around David Tennant, who I think is generally the most popular modern Doctor and would serve well to create a more or less "timeless" (please tip your waitresses) attraction.

Two, they could create a multi-Doctor adventure featuring several of them, maybe with the flexibility to rotate in a scene or scenes with a new Doctor every few years if they feel like it. Kind of like the Hall of Presidents.

I was wondering who was gonna drop that line.... thankfully you're joking (I hope).

That idea works if you're a fan of the show, not for people who haven't any idea about Who-lore. Theme Park rides shouldn't be convoluted or heavy with plot. For example, Splash Mountain may be a lesser IP, but at end of day - it's animals trying to eat a rabbit and you drop 55 feet to escape it. (SPOILERS).

I mean, the audience can "take the place" of the Doctor, but that would defeat the point of it all. Only possible solution is a stunt-show but I think they're going way of dodo bird. Even still, if they were to go Stunt Show, they'd choose Bourne or Bond over Who all day.

Ooooo. That's an idea that would make a great replacement for Fear Factor. Make it stunt show themed to either of those in London.

I believe Fear Factor has been marked for other magical ideas.

My guess for Park 3 should this come to pass:

-Berk (HTTYD)
-Far, Far Away (Shrek)
-Valley of Peace (KFP)
-Madagascar
-Something Nintendo
-Jurassic World

In this situation, SLoP takes over Shrek and Jurassic Park in IoA becomes something else.

Awful lot of kid's lands for the third park. Whether or not some adults like kid's movies or not, they are marketed to kids and that lineup is all animation except for JW. I can accept that Nintendo can be marketed as an all ages type deal, but the rest of those are going to have to have the rides be tame enough for pretty much all ages to ride. So spinners, flats, and slow moving dark rides. And the one property that does lend itself to a thrill ride(JW), will probably get the Gyrosphere ride as it's major E and I don't know that that ride won't be somewhat tame.

I can see one or two of the kids lands. Three if you throw Nintendo in the mix. But if they went all out and had 5 animation/kids lands, I'm not sure how fun this park would be. Unless you think they are going to take on Magic Kingdom directly?

Eh. I'd argue not everything has to be all ages in lands like that. HTTYD could definitely have a thrill ride in there

I think Shrek has reached classic character status, myself. I caught it the other night on HBO and thought it aged pretty well.

I hope a rethemed Space Fantasy makes some appearance. A MIB theme would be cool. Indoor spinning coaster needs to happen.

Super, Mario, Galaxy. Coincidentally Space Fantasy replaced E.T. in USJ and with rumors about the possibility of it leaving in USF for Nintendo........ Well...... ;)

I can dream can't I?

While I would love to see Berk and Valley of Peace as their own lands, I don't see this being a reality. I think we'd more likely get a Dreamwork Animation Land with mini-lands for the biggest properties.

That's what I'm leaning towards as well.

Tooniversal Studios IP:

DreamWorks (Shrek, How to Train your dragon, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar plus stuff in the classics library)
Laika (Paranorman, Kubo, Boxtrolls, Coraline)
Illumination (Minions, and whatever they have planned)
Studio Ghibli (Totoro, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Castle in the Sky)
Nintendo (Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Zelda)
Gkids (Song of the Sea, Secret of Kelis, The Boy and The World)

Before you knock off Studio Ghibli, Universal did have distribution rights to their last two films, Where Marnie was here and The Tale of Princess Kaguya. Universal also distributes majority of the Gkids releases on home video as well so they do have connections to those who create the materials and obviously are trusted some what with their IPs. I know a lot of people knock distribution but a distribution deal means that the people making the film think you will take care of their product for it to sell. There is a level of trust there which should make it easier in acquiring theme park rights.

Also some of these are dark enough where it can be thrilling while still be family friendly.

I think this is a fairly solid line up.

I've started watching Game of Thrones and I think the world could lead to a good land but I don't see how they could keep it family friendly. I've also realised that my barber is the spitting image of Jason Momoa in Game of Thrones.

Unfortunately most adult IPs don't translate into theme parks well. Though if we are talking adult animation, Rick and Morty would potentially be a source for a great theme park attraction.

Rick and Morty is flawless. (I work for adult swim so I am biased.)

I don't mind it being a day care. Especially since it's far away from the other 2 parks and the only transit is busses. Send all the tykes and strollers down the street.

An Adult Swim land would be perfect.

Am I the only one hoping this park is NOT ip land? Sure, I don't mind 95% of the attractions being IP's, but I don't want all the lands to be themed to an IP... Maybe like Disney Sea where you walk around amazing themed lands with some IP based rides inside of them.

Is that really that different from like Transformers where you're just being inundated with characters left and right? Even if you don't have any idea who any of them are, you still get impression who's a good guy and who's a bad guy.

Go the Disney route and make all your villains sound like raging, stereotypical gay men.

Yes, because Transformers are 15 foot tall robots that transform into different modes of transport.
