Space, time, and money.
Overall I think this will be an improvement on Shrek (a low bar) and families will love it.
I'm mostly interested in how well the setup works. If the "stand through" is successful and the illusion works, I could see this being used across the resort to bring in some C-ticket level attractions. There are perennially closed shops in Seuss that they could jam together to make a stand-through version of another Seuss story (or even one that can me retooled through the year to different stories). Heck, I could see it being an addition to Diagon where the Weasleys take you through their gag factory.
Yea, I get that it's not the most exciting thing in the world, but I see the tech having promise to add small, diversionary attractions to areas of the park that are lightly used.
