Lot less than 400+ yesterday. They are adjusting and there is a curve, get there early til the "new" wears off and do the coaster then pick the slides throughout the day. Same as any other opening.

You want to ride the coaster at 2pm? So does everyone else.

Given that the crowds are lower now that the weekend rush has come and gone, can we all agree that this isn't a "guests wanting to be first" issue and is actually a "Universal has problems with their new tech" issue? Because right now, all $67 + tax is getting you two lazy rivers, a wave pool, and a couple of slides if you're lucky.

I think people who bought Express before they cut Express are still being allowed to use it. Either way, it does look like they may need a few other fixes. I really like the tech but the waits are killer.

It's never gonna work. Maybe in a waterpark in the middle of nowhere. The concept itself is a flawed process/concept (like socialism). Looks nice on paper. It goes against economic theories, supply/demand.

Exactly what I've been thinking since day 1. It's not going to work. The only reason it semi-works with fallon is because the whole park isn't virtual. I bet 100$ that in September the waits are STILL 200+.

Maybe if they cut off new Tapu Tapu reservations once a popular slide's wait time hits something like 250 or 300 minutes? Perhaps that would encourage (force) people to tapu tapu the other, less popular slides?

And it's Fallon....not a big deal. Why can't it just be like back then? Screw fastpass, tapu tapu and express. It's nice when you have it but it's just a way for these companies to make easy money for something that they should already provide, low wait times.

I mean, from the waits I've seen... all the slides are popular and long.

If anything, they should just allow onsite guests to use tapu tapu.

I really wonder if they should reverse course and go the Magic Band route... reserve a certain number of slides for expedited access, and then normal standby otherwise? I guess the infrastructure wasn't built for that?

This would be unpopular, but you know what would work? A limit of one ride per slide.
If I rope drop and hit coaster- maybe even twice - and then several others- and I'm allowed to have coaster and other slides in two separate queues- I'm going to do it. So at 2pm I'm still clogging the queue of rides I've already ridden. It's my right for being there early- but for Tapu Tapu to work, maybe the "one per slide" is the only way it works- or at the very worst, one per slide if over 30 mins, etc.

If they got rid of Tapu Tapu, wouldn't the lines still be just as long? People would just be waiting on the stairs instead, right?

And if people see the lines are so long, why are they tapping to queue in those lines and then complaining? I don't really understand.

They should give you a choice of one Tapu Tapu reservation for Honu, Krakatau, or one of the volcano slides...keep everything else standby. Until they get this stuff working and all staff trained properly it only makes sense to do things the old school way.

Wow! I have to agree. Loving the looks of this. It makes sense considering the kind of park it is, but I like that it's not mascot/character centric, like most of the other theme park billboards. It's more just about the scenery and atmosphere.
