Doesn't Busch Gardens also have bumper cars? Either way, I don't think bumper cars would be the best attraction for Universal.

I love my thrill rides and coasters, but for the sake of diversity for all the demographics, I like the idea of a slow/tame dark ride for the whole family :thumbs:

Ideal/Blue Sky/Won't Happen But Will Dream list of additions/changes for Islands...

-Lorax dark ride for Seuss Landing in the expansion pad still available back there; nothing fancy, just a family dark ride with no height requirement.
-Reverting of Poseidon's Fury to its original plot/experience; can be marketed as "new" and "improved" even if it really isn't
-Replace the Sinbad stunt show (which is impressively forgettable) with either a completely revamped performance or a tear down of the theater with a Sinbad-inspired family boat ride (see Tokyo DisneySea for an idea of what I'm getting at)
-Add rockwork or at least stone-brickwork to hide the rest of the FJ show building; it is absolutely a big deal and a sore spot to any champion of theming.
-Family-friendly Amber mine train coaster in the old Triceratops Encounter plot; low height requirement, similar in scale to the 7 Dwarves Mine Train
-Helicoptours style ride in the plot behind Thunder Falls Terrace
-Conversion of the Toon Lagoon/Marvel buffer area & theater into a mini Oz land, featuring the abridged Wicked show. Merchandise & restaurant possibilities galore, keeps in line with Islands' underlying theme of literature
-Complete overhaul/completion of Dudley Do Right with fully functional show scenes; marketed as a new & improved experience (i.e. Spider-Man 2.0)

Irrelevant. Even though I doubt we will see it come to IOA. The story of Oz is now Public Domain so Universal is free to interpret it, if they so choose to.

i am not driving to Tampa for bumper cars, plus half the time they are closed because there using the building for something else.

I was thinking bumper cars with a twist, like the Buzz Lightyear cars in DisneyQuest.

Like Briman said, Uni can do anything Oz themed they wish to. Uni even has a Wicked film adaptation in the works:

Not only do they have the movie adaptation, but Universal Pictures is actually the co-producer alongside of Marc Platt and David Stone for Wicked on Broadway. So Wicked is something that's incredibly plausible for any of Universal's parks. Especially IOA with it's literary themes.

i HEARD A RUMOR THE PROPS FOR THE SHOW ARE ONSITE. THE SHOW WOULD BE BETTER SUITED FOR A T2 REPLACEMENT.

Why would you replace T2 with Wicked instead of FFL for Wicked. Though I could see Universal repurpose soundstage 18, or whatever the soundstage next to Blue Man Group is, to put in Wicked. It might need a new building, but I think that would be a better location than in the park.

Don't know if this means much, but T2 has been down for the last couple of days for enhancements. I think audio specifically. T2 isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Saw a rumor somewhere that Blue Man Group hasnt been meeting the quota for its financial bringing-ins etc...and that it may be on the way out soon...to be replaced by something....wicked....
