Making my way through Free Roam in Mario Kart World to get everything 100% completed and the soundtrack is just outstanding. I’ve had it playing through YouTube all day at work that’s how good it is lol.

I know that it’s cheating a bit because it’s pretty much all remakes but I don’t care this is up there as one of the best soundtracks in any Mario related game ever.

Went to a video game bar with a friend last night for my birthday and we played It Takes Two the whole time. What an extremely fun game. I’m tempted to buy it on Steam now so we can go through the whole game together but I’ll likely wait for a sale though.

That game is an absolute masterpiece. One of the most fresh and unique platformers I've played in a very long time. It only gets more imaginative and absurd the further you get into it.

I’m addicted to Donkey Kong Bananza. I’ve been consistently staying up late just to play it lol. The team really nailed down the fun factor so much that I think I might actually like this game more than Mario Odyssey!

I had some family come over and decided to get Split Fiction.... Me and my cousin only got half way through the game (it's LONG) but with everything I've played so far this game is phenomenal. I just hate that I have to find a 2nd player now to finish it lol

Just beat Donkey Kong Bananza with 100% completion of all main collectibles. What a fantastically fun game to just play around with. All that’s left to do is buy enough bananas to fully max out the skill tree.

If there’s one thing that disappoints me a bit right now…
…it’s that there’s no cutscene of Pauline actually performing at City Hall when you finish the post game. All you get is an alternate angle of the credits and a drawn picture of the performance after that :(

Kirby and the Forgotten Land is a pretty fun and relaxed game with some nice side challenges that are actually testing me a bit more than Donkey Kong Bananza. I’m playing the Switch 2 Edition and this is actually the first Kirby game I’ve ever bought (the first I played was Amazing Mirror for free with the 3DS Ambassador program). If I wanted more Kirby Return to Dream Land Deluxe would be the way to go right? I know there was disappointment regarding Star Allies for quite a few people.

Yeah, I'd highly recommend Return to Dream Land Deluxe, it's easily in the top 3 best Kirby games, and the remake adds a whole new extra campaign.

Star Allies has some issues, so I cannot fully recommend it. The level design is rather bland and easy. The game was made with 4 people in mind, and it is a bit awkward as a single player experience. The game also has some weird performance issues on both Switch 1 and 2, being locked to 30 FPS, but still consistently dropping frames and running very choppily when a lot of objects are on screen.

How does RtDLD run on Switch 2? I couldn’t find much on it when I searched.

The game already runs at a smooth and consistent 60 FPS on Switch 1, so there's not too much room for improvement. There is 1 room in the game that's locked to 30 FPS, which is the hub area for the minigame mode, but it's not a huge deal, since no proper gameplay occurs there. The minigames themselves are 60 FPS, along with the main game.
