This is what I'm most curious about. A Gringotts coaster sounds great, but I really want to know what are Muggles doing in the bank? A Gringotts tour doesn't translate as well as a Hogwarts tour.

I think the best estimate for FJ is some point in Prince, but I don't think it was made with a definite time point in mind.

It helps that it was filmed around the same time as Half-Blood Prince.

Do any of you realize that no one used the literary term 'canon' in a sentence 15 years ago. No one. It has become so Potter trendy.

Pretty sure 'canon' is mostly a Star Wars/Trek thing. Potter just exposed it other people.

It's just a fandom thing, methinks. I see it everywhere.

I mean, there's a good chance the SW/ST fandoms popularized it as fandom lingo, of course, but it's not exclusive to anything.

I dunno... but I more learned it because of Chaucer and Shakespeare. Both SW and ST were very evident in the 90's, but no one used the word canon. It is a great word, but no one except professors used it.

All I know is they used to sell a Voldamort doll, roughly the size of a G. I. Joe, in Filtch's.

^ Exactly. There is no limit on characters at all. Just a self-imposed limit on utter devastation which wouldn't be very pleasant to look at all day long.

I think it's a theme park land that is meant to recreate a Wizarding World we can all enjoy. Canon is irrelevant.

Exactly, people want the vibrant Diagon Alley they see in Philosophers Stone, not the desolate one from Prince and Hallows.

I hope when they build D.A they don't make it too tight. I wouldnt want to push threw people. What they could do is lean the buildings slighty forward, towards the path, so that way it feels more enclosed and intimate.

Just going by permits posted that may or may not be for Diagon Alley, expect the bare minimum width and height clearance that the fire marshall requires.

The Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio Tour located at Leavesden Studios in England. They have the entire Diagon Alley set there from what I understand.

Does anyone think we'll be getting something like this? Perhaps a little wider?

Yup. I imagine it'll look exactly like that but wider. And no stairs to get into shops.

I know. Fire department requires at least 50 ft.
