I'm as in the dark as you can get concerning Harry Potter 2.0, but since it was announced I've considered the Hogwarts Express to be the feather in the new expansion's cap; even more so than Gringotts. Due to not only the visibility of it as the only means of transportation between London and Hogsmeade, but also due to the sheer novelty of a ride that picks you up inside the gates of one theme park, only to drop you off inside the gates of another.

That being said, I'm sure UC has a helluva ride in store for park guests. I mean, isn't a Dementor attack rumored (ala Prisoner of Azkaban)?

Like I said, I'm in the dark, but based on what it is I believe more attention is being paid to Hogwarts Express than any other part of the expansion.

Oh I'm certain it will be impressive - and I've heard the rumor too, but it seems to come and go as if it's an idea that's been floated around but never picked up momentum. I certainly hope that it would include something like that!
And I think you're absolutely right - obviously Gringotts is going to be amazing, however, every HP fan has dreamed of riding the Hogwarts Express since reading the first HP book, so it'll be a major emotive thing with the fans.

Great to hear! I thought it would be - the screens alone should be impressive enough, I just wasn't sure how much 'ride' effort they were going to put into it.

Probably - I've been out of the loop for so long now that it's not even funny.

We believe, or at least I believe that the only place that guests will see the train is from within the stations. The only people that may be able to see the trains moving back and forth will be TMs backstage. I also believe too that all who ride the trains will not be able to see the real outdoors from the cars.

Yeah, I remember Whylightbulb referring to it as an E-Ticket several times on that board. He also specifically made reference to an effect that would make the cabins 'freeze'. Sounds like a dementor attack.
