Listen, as I've said previously, this is what I think could happen, Uni might have other ideas... We don't know yet... Speculation. So I think it's kind of pointless to argue for the next 3-5 years until something new is announced...

I think this is the first time in this thread that I'm agreeing with you!

Not true! We agreed on some ideas before, but then I started talking about DA, which I firmly believe is the candidate for an expansion...

How would you know? Are you a mathematician (no rudeness intended, just saying)... I fail to see how it would be dominated by one land, seeing as the only difference is the fact that we have the castle. Shops are hardly counted as an attraction to anyone other than an HP/Theme park fan. And so far, Suessland has more attractions (and probably shops) than HP. So don't say it's going to be dominating, I'm getting kind of tired of that argument ._. If they were to add Diagon Alley, I'm thinking it wouldn't so much be a "diagon alley section" as a "London" section. And the only reason Hogsmeade is a main street is because the designers made it that way. In the books, Hogsmeade is a couple of miles away from Hogwarts. Here it's a walk away, because of convenience... Diagon Alley wouldn't so much be a main street the way I'm picturing it if it were to happen - seeing as I think there would be more attractions than Gringotts, I don't think a bank would make for a grand end to a "main street" to a themed section...

So, if WW were to get a whole London section, with Diagon Alley, Leaky Cauldron, the MoM, possibly Platform 9 3/4, in addition to Hogsmeade, Hogwarts and the Forbidden Forest area (Hippogriff and DC), the park wouldn't feel dominated by HP?? It kind of seems like it would be to me. Like I said before, I am torn between being a huge Potter fan and saying, just take over the whole park, and being an IoA fan and not wanting the rest of the park to be forgotten.

But whatever. Like you said we are all just speculating. It's kind of fun, so if you or anyone else has an idea, where exactly would they even put Diagon Alley? It would be helpful if someone could reference a map, instead of just saying "the Arabian section".

Well I'm saying that whole section Briman so kindly highlighted earlier in blue, that Arabian seciont... And if there was Diagon Alley, I don't think we would get the FF. I'm thinking DA would take over the Arabian section and the rest of "London" would be contained in the Greek section of LC...

Well I still don't think that constitutes dominating the area - 3 rides and shops? I think more shops (as in old LC) and a few more rides would be welcomed aditions...

I know rotfl... And if it's shops and, oh, say, 5 attractions, it's about as big as Suess Landing and honestly, I think Potter deserves to be lol...

Yes, but SL really only has those attractions, not much else to spend a few hours in. The WW, I could easily spend 5 days in, theres just so much stuff.

Yes and this enhances the experience. Look, I can't deny that Potter would be big, but that's because it should be. Let's not forget most of us are HP/theme park fans, so of course we're going to want to spend hours in it. The average park guest probably want's to spend a few hours in there, and the rest of his day in the rest of the park just riding rides...
And sorry, I could spend a long time in Suess Landing just relaxing and looking at the wacky shops they have rotfl...

So? Thats now. I'm not trying to underestimate Potter, but in20 years or so do you really think it will be as crowded? Uni needs to think long term.

I've tried, but it's hard, because there really isn't that much. It really doesn't feel that big, it feels the same size as every other island.

Seuss is the smallest island in area, but it has the highest number of listed attractions, shops, and restaurants, because everything is kid-sized.

I appreciate you bringing the map back up, but what I meant was way more specific. Like where would Diagon Alley start? Where would Gringotts be? Where would the length of the street be? So if someone wants to actually draw exactly where they think it should go, like maybe a line indicating Diagon Alley, that would help to visualize it better. I just wondered if anyone had a specific idea.
Oh and I apologize if someone's already done this!

Exactly my point - an expansion will happen just as crowds start to diminish to spark interest again, that way we get a crowd surge again :) The thing about the average park guest is, they appreciate the rides. Everytime we went to a park the first time, we had to rush through because we were ride hunting, now that we're done we do things like walk through, look for small parks like Fun Spot, go on favorites, and next time, we're going to spend a lot of time in WWoHP. An expansion would bring back crowds and keep the spark of interest alive. In the meantime as others said, improve the park as a whole (including LC - no point in it being unkempt in its remaining time if it is going), after you generate interest in Potter again, keep the park going... And personally I think it's time for another park but that's another story...

Anyway, my point is, expanding Potter would keep crowds. I think we're all in agreement that an expansion probably will happen. No what direction it goes in is beyond anyone's guess right now... But it's likely. Not saying it's definitely going to happen, but... Based on all the evidence, I conclude xD...

Grrr, link isn't working, hang on a sec, this is from facebook so IDK if it's going to work... Is there another place I could post it?

The red would be Leaky Cauldron IMO, yellow would be pathway of Diagon Alley (albeit, after some timely demolitions), black would be a possible Knockturn Alley, and Blue would be the whole London section (which could be fun to explore with Magiquest in place...)

There are potential problems that would have to be resolved with MagiQuest, such as, kids waving wands all over the place and in people's eyes.

I was not being sarcastic, but I was not saying that all of JP should go to the WW. I was merely suggesting that a small bit of unused JP land could be turned into an (albeit small) attraction based on the FF, almost like Trike encounter but with a few more animals.
