Again, I'd be fine with it if Uni found a way for it to work. I just don't think the WW needs a huge expansion, that's all.

Mythos = Leaky Cauldron/Diagon Alley entrance...

Mythos is the #1 theme park resturaunt. I don't think Uni is going to change it or it's menu, which they would need to do if they theme it to the WW. I think they should theme it as a resturaunt seperate froom the islands, that a POE citizen set up. That way, the food and atmosphere won't have to change.

Past that, I see it being similar to Hogsmeade and at the same time very different (ice cream parlour, Ollivanders duplicate [much needed], a quill shop similar to the Post office in Hogsmeade, and a few other shops that are escaping me right now...).

Maybe a Flourish and Blotts bookstore or a Madam Malkin's robe shop?

Just thought I'd throw this out there/remind everyone, Mythos hasn't won that award since 2008. They lost in both 2009 and 2010. In 2010, it was only the second runner-up.

I don't know if this was mentioned yet but I would love to see Ollivanders with more than 1 room. Preferably 3 or 4, similar to the way the HM stretching rooms are.

Think about it logically, my friend.

1) Rowling isn't going to be a fan of the "Studio" feel of the other park. She wants realism, not a fake movie set.
2) It makes absolutely NO sense whatsoever. There was enough confusion initially about Potter where people thought it was a separate park. Now you're going to add to that by adding another land to a different park? Not bloody likely.
3) The Studios park doesn't have a logical space for it to go, nor does it fit in with the theming of the rest of the park at all.
4) Islands has half a land that isn't popular at all. As it stands it's basically just something people pass through to get to Potter.

 Let me point out that we're talking about a theme park. Absolutely everything in a theme park is, in reality, useless (not that I feel that way, everyone needs a break to have fun :D ). Nothing is "needed". It's all about the want, the demand as you would call it in the market. If it will make money, you bet a big Potter expansion will happen within the future whether any of us likes it or not. Not that we know for a fact that it's happening (although I'd bet money on it), if you build it, it's been proven, they will come, and IoA can focus on revamping/improving the other islands to balance it out. But I do believe that want another go at Potter before that happens.

As Tbad already pointed out, it doesn't hold that title anymore. While I love your idea (pretty creative if you ask me  ), Universal is willing to retheme it, if, once again, it will make them money. And it's proven that it will.

Maybe a Flourish and Blotts bookstore or a Madam Malkin's robe shop?

Hmm, I like those concepts, but I can't see a lot going in those shops... Flourish and Blotts couldn't sell much, because I think Joe would want to keep it to her books, which leaves it at the series and the two books she wrote for charity... Any products you could see going in there (maybe some more toy monster books of monsters?). Same thing with Madame Malkin's... But, I could see Madame Malkins "partnering" with another, more general store (if there is such a thing in Diagon Alley).

I was thinking Flourish and Blotts could be kind of like Owl Post, with the books, stationary, postcards, stupid things like that. As for Madam Malkins, you're partnering is a good idea, maybe Malkins could sell more souvineer t-shirts, hats, etc, and it's "partner" shop could sell the other typical souvenirs.

I'm with you JungleSkip. Universal, and more importantly JK, wouldn't cheapen the Wizarding World experience like that. You're not supposed to think of the WWHOP like movies, just like you aren't supposed to think of Seuss like a series of books, in IOA, they are experiences.

Basically, you want to debate/discuss the possibility of it being added to the Studios, yet you won't give us anything to debate about because you've already convinced yourself that it will happen, despite several excellent points? That seems reasonable.

I think between Diagon and Hogsmeade there should be an attraction where the queue is the train station where you walk through the brick wall (possibly a projection on a smoke-screen or an optical illusion). The ride itself could be similar to Catastrophe Canyon and Disaster where you board the Hogwarts Express and survive a Dementor onslaught. The ride dump could be by the Hogsmeade entrance/Hogwarts Express station thus connecting Diagon Alley to Hogsmeade.

Good idea with Flourish and Blotts... The only reason I didn't think of it was because my mind immediately went to that quill shop Harry mentioned in the first book, and he talked about a quill that had ink that changed colors... I like your idea better though lol... And yes, Malkin's could sell those shirts, and the hats, (I'm thinking that she could have more clothing than Dervish and Banges or Filches, because I haven't seen a wide selection of hats, t-shirts were decent though), and of course the famous $100 dollar robes  ...

A lot of people have brought this up, and I just don't see it as a viable option. Mostly because it'd be way too similar to Forbidden Journey's climax. That's just way too much dementors.

Even knowing next to nothing about Harry Potter, as a theme park fan that would irk me. Rides, especially ones in the same land, should not share similar endings.

This is an invalid point. The same can be said about Jurassic Park, and even all the other islands. WWoHP is new, therefore, people will pass everything on the way to experience that new thing. I certainly did. Mythos and Poseidon's Fury always have long waits during busy times; they are far from unpopular.

Not really. JPRA still has a very large ridership.

Long wait times don't equal popular rides in all occasions. PF has a long wait because of its setup, not because a lot of people experience the attraction everyday.

And comparing a ride wait time to a restaurant wait time is like comparing a tank and a fighter jet, so I wont touch on the Mythos thing.

Listen, I know how everybody loves Lost Continent for how original it is, but please don't fool yourself and believe it's anywhere other than the least popular land in the park.
