Oh Okay. I've read thoroughly through the thread to make sure I didn't miss anything. I'm still learning about Harry Potter. It's neat that I found OU. You guys are awesome.

Does anybody know how they're planning to solve the one park ticket issues? I remember discussing that some months back but I don't ever remember a conclusive decision. Probably just turnstiles and make the attraction only for two park tickets?

I pray that isn't the setup, but I fear it will be in the end.

Wont that just make for a ton of confusion and a bottle necking mess? Seriously, I see mass confusion at the entrance to the rides now with people trying to figure out the standby, single and express lines and god forbid they have a small child that needs to be measured or even a bag just adds to people not reading or paying attention

Well, bags and children won't matter. There won't be a height requirement. But only letting 2 park tickets in would be a huge mistake.

Will you really need a ticket to both parks to ride? how about having a round trip for one park ticket holders?

How could you make it work otherwise? I just can't figure out how you could allow everyone access?

IMO that's the worst thing you can do. You want people to spend more days at your parks. Making the base ticket allowing access to both parks would cost a huge amount and offer everyone a CHANCE at doing everything they wanted in one day.

IMO no it wouldn't. People would just upgrade to a park hopper. It would be a big mess letting everyone on.

How would letting everyone on make a mess? When done like that it allows for it to act as a regular ride rather then a transport system like the monorail at WDW. When there is so much effort going into the experience you don't want this to become just a transport ride. Unlike the monorail, the HW will attract guests in the masses. People don't read so they will join the que or attempt to join the que later to find out that they can't ride. This then slow down and make the line much bigger then what it already would be, since then then need to leave the que. This will also upset the guests as they will feel they missed out on the experience, and will leave the park feeling like they were ripped off.

The way I see it working will be similar to the Monorail at WDW where you can still ride it with only the regular one park ticket but when you get to the other end you can get back in a que (not the main que but one made just for returning guests so they don't need to wait 10 years just to get back) and those who have a two park ticket can continue to the IOA or USF.

If you had only the park hoppers ride, the line would be much shorter(I think). hmm, maybe I'm changing my mind

Look how well the DL monorail works. If HE works as good as that, it will be fine.

I wouldn't really consider the DL monorail an Eticket ride either.

Again...if the numbers above are correct, the Hogwarts Express would have the biggest capacity I've ever seen for an E-ticket attraction. It'd be over 2x the capacity of the Haunted Mansion.
