This time, not only might it work... it would work and not aggrieve any Potter super fan. 10% of me wants to fly down and audition myself; and that's saying something."

Although street magicians sound awesome and might indeed be part of the Carkitt Market or, more likely, London Waterfront scene, I was hoping that the description Teebin was referring to when he said someone nailed was either Felipe's description:

Felipe said:
The wooden boxes (crates?) could also suggest that maybe the show is tied in to the market aspect specifically... Maybe we'll see merchants selling, and witches and wizards shopping, and suddently it turns into a show?

Or my follow-up to his description:

Like a wizarding flash mob? Would love to see actual carts - something along the lines of a Clock of the Time Dragon from "Wicked" (as described in the book, not the musical), but in an Oliver! setting. Or maybe rather than a single cart, a number of carts, some of which feature wizards hawking various items (butterbeer, charms, sweets, etc...), one featuring a Théâtre d'Ombre version of "The Tale of the Three Brothers," and another with a Punch & Judy-style version of "The Fountain of Fair Fortune," and yet another telling the story of "The Wizard and the Hopping Pot." The carts could literally rotate (on wheels) around the area, and would feature rotating gears (like a Gringotts door vault) that automatically open the mini-stage doors, but the shows would also be figuratively rotating in that guests/customers could rotate from cart to cart taking in various shows and buying items. Love it!

We know from the auditions announcement that there are singers involved, so I'm still holding out for the Oliver!-style singing wizard flash mob with steampunkish theatre carts featuring various tales of Beedle the Bard. I might modify my original guess to a single, large cart with gears and springs, with the "stage doors" automatically opening at certain times of the day (on the half hour, perhaps) for various tales. Either way, that (plus street magicians along the London Waterfront) is what I'm hoping for, and I'll stick with that vision until someone refutes it or until I see it with my own eyes. Definitely think the Beedle the Bard tales will be part of the show, though.

^ There is more coming soon I promise. Give it some time. HP fans are going to die and go to heaven. And yes, that is a hint, not a riddle.

It's killing me watch you tease everyone with this. Wish I hadn't been sworn to secrecy...

I am loving the amount of theming that is going in behind the scenes that is evident in these pics. Thanks for the heads up and find Teebin very glad I can see a glimpse of what's to expect :stunned:

I wonder if this somehow relates to that picture I found on Bing Images of the disgusting, shriveled up Voldemort corpse like the one in The Deathly Hallows (when Harry goes to "King's Cross Station heaven") when I searched "Diagon Alley" haha

I'm thinking they mean more along the lines of the Tale of the Three Brothers.

to an extent, I dont want to hear any more news of HP. I feel like we have such an abundance as it is, and I want more surprises than I do knowing whats going to happen, when it will happen and where it will happen. Thats not to say i'm ungrateful, because I am. I am very satisfied with what I know about HP and even Kong (All I need from this front is some artwork).... I need to hear some news about whats coming to KZ and LC!!!

Yep. I meant the Three Brothers, but my second thought was the scene in Deathly Hallows: Part 2 when Harry in in the heavenly Kings Cross Station too.

This makes me very excited to know there are still big things we don't know about the project.

I can't let myself even begin to ponder what kind of detail "HP fans are going to die and go to heaven" might be hinting at. Surely not Harry's almost-death scene in King's Cross Station / Heaven, where all the details where whited out, except Voldie's crispy-fried naked horcrux soul.

When I think about what addition would make me die and go to heaven, I start getting crazy dreams about a Great Hall restaurant or a Hogwarts hotel, either that or a phone call from Rowling herself thanking me for the website I created 15 years ago dedicated to a fictional Harry Potter theme park, which inspired her to work with Universal to create the real thing, along with notification that my family and I will be receiving life-time passes with express and early entry to both USO and IOA, along with yearly week-long stays at an onsite resort hotel.

See how crazy some HP fans get when you tell them something will make them think they've died and gone to heaven, Teebin?

Speaking of King's Cross Station, a bit of trivia: Queen Boudica, the Celtic queen who led a revolt against the Romans after the death of Prasutagus (her husband), is reputed to be buried beneath King's Cross Station, somewhere between platforms 9 and 10. "Boudica" means "wise in victory," while "Harry" is a variation of "Harold," which means "leader of the army." Which army? Dumbledore's Army, of course.

I was referring to very different other things, not related to Pong or Kotter. We know practically everything about this project and I couldn't care less about the other.

Those dates they cut the hours for are some of the last (somewhat) slow days before employee training starts kicking up... :look:
