The Hollywood Reporter broke the news, that Zombieland 2 is finally going forward and will begin production in January.

The film will see the return of the original cast, with Ruben Fleischer (Venom) returning to the directors chair. The original writers, will also be returning; as the film is projected to be released by October 2019.

Loved the first film... But no real interest in another. Sometimes things can just be standalone stories :shrug:

Looks like more of the same as the first one. Given the first one is one of the very best zombie movies ever made, that's a good thing.
