not on Goblet but the timeline and period is set somewhere (not clear) there.

The Tri-Wizard is there,
Harry already does quittich and dragon is there,
dementor is there. Buckbeak.

is after part 3 for sure, before or during part 4

definately not part 5 and up. because Aragog is dead by part 6.
and the story line becomes totally dark after 5.

it was the perfect timeline for the ride to use Dementors, who just appeared after part 3.
and harry already know the expecto charm.

I completely agree. What were they thinking? I know the robot arm can only handle a certain weight, but they should know that they are going to need to accomodate almost every guest, within reason.

Edit: I think I misunderstood your comment. Woops.

the loading area is pretty cool btw the floating candles are beautiful, alot of the queue rooms are wayyyyyyyyyyy smaller then i thought they would be. i also hate how the queue is a queue. i thought i was going to be walking around the rooms from the movies. i hate having the bars and crap every where, i also don't like how the fat lady is on the wall and we don't walk thru to get into the common room. but i guess i have to remember that this is a theme park.

Too bad rooms are $250 a night. Otherwise I'd do it. D:

Really? Our rooms were $370 before taxes and fees when I booked our room. $250 sounds like a deal to me.

I also found the Fat Lady part a bit disappointing, but then I thought of the inconvenience it would be to everyone in line if it swung forward...then again, it could have swung inward...I'm sure they considered it; there just must have been some snag they came across.

I just want to say thank you and congrats to those who have already visited this new island and who have shared their thoughts and feelings with us. It's been so exciting reading everything unfold these last few days and it's great that we have a place where this sort of valuable information is readily available.

Any first timers go to the IOA or Universal Orlando yet? I'm curious how those of you who have never been to the park are enjoying the rest of the islands and parks as well? How are those of you, first time on-site guests enjoying the resorts?

It's $250 right now. They probably hike up the prices toward GO.

It is a double-sided load platform. It's just not open between the two. The other side has no belt to assist in longer loading times.

My word Mr. M. How do you know what you know? I double checked on the wooden bridge... in a way different than you. That bridge actually could last 50-100 years. It sucks... but hey, facts are facts. When did they decide to hold onto it? As everyone here knows, I am devastated that JP is taking such a hit but theme parks must change and go on! Teebin will go with the flow of it all...

Do you still live in Kissimmee?

you know that is not true.

THere is no bad theming.
NEver judge anything with camera flashes.

Paint show well in show lighting and not in real lighting.
I am a insdutry guy,
there is no such thing as dark show lighting hides bad themeing.

Take any flash photo at disney and it will look nasty.
That is why flash photo is no good. it ruins the magic.

have more faith, dont judge things by its covers.
That goes for Teebin too.

I expect Teebin to knows this stuff and have more faith.
To be disappointed for anything from a dark video and flash photograph is not fair.
You guys should know better.
I warn about that, even IT IS a bad video, people still make judgement before they really experieince.
Take Ricky from inside the magic.
He understands.

hold all judgements until ridden.
NOT, on a pocket camera that dont capture low show lighting colors.

Sorry I rant, I just dont like when,
for example.
people judge how AVATARs CG sucked from a video camera filmed pirated version
then say is super good after they actually see it.

is just not true to base any judgement on.
Especially in FJ man.

You staying at the Portofino?

RP usually goes from $199 - $250 a night, HR is always around $25 more, and Portofino is usually $25 more than that.

this I agree, and about the fat lady too.

I do think they hit some technical and logical snag while planning it

I said back in a few pages that, why would they ruin the magic by connecting the rooms next to each other
as, Dumbloredores office is NEXT to DADA and NEXT to Common room.
without any hallways in between.

and then, I find out that RoR is also tiny not big.
Fat lady is just on a side of a wall. and Common Room is kind of small, and OPENED, not really a room.

I guess, in the end, theme park logistics, ends up to serve the guests, flow of the lines and spacing, etc.
It ended it up like this.

It is possible to seperate the rooms but operational procudure wise would be a nightmare in Orlando.

It is possible, considering Tower of Terror preshow, opens and closes door with one group at a time
instead of a constant flow of line.

but FJ have 3 major preshow rooms, dont think the line flow will flow very well, if
they did the open and close door for each rooms with a certain amount number of people.

You are correct... and I will sometimes post broad ideas to get a reaction if I am getting none. Overstate the wrong answer and you will most likely come closer to the correct answer. Right? Some of my best ideas have come from people suggesting the worst ideas. It is very helpful to have interaction.
