And a quick off-topic note. Please don't flog me

Off topic, but regarding FloridaDude asking the same question twice: sometimes trying to find the answer to your question can be hard in these forums. Forums tend to go off topic or are so popular that there can be several more posts after your question and before you get a chance to come back. I have no idea how this VBulletin software runs but is it possible that ALERTS can be established right here, on the site, under our handle notifications? So, when FloridaDude, or any of us for that matter, ask a question, and someone replies, we are notified, under NOTIFICATION, with an alert, that your post was responded to? I think that would end the same member asking the same question more than once.

This is my procedure of choice to keep up on the forums:

- On the top-right of the page, go to the link "Settings."
- From the Settings page, there's a list of all your subscribed threads (all the threads you have posted in).
- Each thread name has a little blue circle button, with two arrows facing downwards, right to the left of the thread title. Clicking on this will take you to the first unread post in that thread. (And not just the post right after your last written post, but the last post you actually looked at.)
- Then all that's left is taking the time (hours ) and reading it all.

They might give the food some clever names, but they already have a solid base with the current IFFF menu, which had different ethnic food that would suit the new restaurant overlays

I want a taco bar. I would never leave Springfield. Ever. They could just sell a taco shell bowl with meat, and leave everything else up to us.

So just to chime in for a minute and help clear up some possible confusion for everyone here are a few fun facts about IFFF

  • General Changs, Kentucky Fried Panda, and KrustyBurger will be for seating purposes only. The interiors will be themed to each property but are for seating only.
  • The kitchen and serving area set up will remain the same as it did for IFFF, just themed to the Simpsons properties.
  • Food will essentially remain the same but with new names revolving around the themes of each restaurant, although expect some new options.
  • Moes will be walled off from inside the rest of the new restaurant. It will be the only one of the four that actually has its own serving station within itself and is being themed to match Moes from the show. It will have pool table inside as well.
  • Their will be no topping bar unless things have changed sorry, just condiment stations.

I know that they plan on including several Food Trucks to this area. I would love to see some of the more high end specialty items that "Food Trucks" have become famous for included. This gives them a very unique situation to offer some exciting food options.

So question about the facades HTF: If the 3 new places are for seating only, what's the entrance going to be? Will there be some sort of name/sign, or will we just enter in some non-descript door next to the 3 restaurants?

That is...troubling. I was really hoping for a complete revamp of quality here.

They are going to at least add some sort of themed food here, they have to in order to fit the theme...more than anything I really hope they step up the game when it comes to the burger.

They have a whole show to base the food off of so I highly doubt they'll screw it up.

Its all about how they execute transforming the food using the source material into real world food. Any one can take a burger and call it a Krusty burger but the question is will it be a good quality burger or will it be just the same burger IFF had slapped with a Krusty label. Its also about variety and a change from the normal food kind of like BOG is offering now.

I agree. If they are investing this much time and detail into the general project better believe the food and merchandise will put it over the top. You want people to return. You want people to say "wow I loved eating there or shopping there" . I know Disney is the master at creating experiences but Universal did a great job of that with HP and with the Simpson they have a chance to add their to their resume. So I doubt they indeed mess that up.

I hope the quailty gets better on the food .I am not holding my breath
I used to get the footlong dog at fire eaters grill and split it in half for two of us.
Now no more footlongs because whole park switched to same hummel dogs.
I guess if they serve hamburger it will be the same as the rest of the park .
exempting whopper bar (they probably have to use burger king patties)

If their is a revamp in quality it will be resort wide. Which is possible..

Again their will be themed food options including new choices but the old menu at IFFF had a good blend of options to be a base for what's being done here.
