I haven't been to SW in a while. I haven't even seen Turtle Trek yet. But I was considering a visit to see Antarctica, but after the overwhelmingly bad reviews, I have reconsidered.

Nothing wrong with a strictly business visit. I've been thinking of doing one myself. It's nice to check up on the parks every now and then!

I used to do that, but 2 years ago I got custody of my 2 daughters and suddenly EVERYTHING became 3 times as expensive. If I were still down here alone, I'd have an annual pass.

Yes, I am not looking forward to my kids turning "3" and needing to start paying for them. We spend a ton of money for two passes to all three places, now having to pay almost double that (I say almost because you get a SLIGHT discount on kids)

I know the feeling guys, daughter turned 3 a few months ago (And I have 2 stepchildren older than her)... Gets QUITE expensive to have annuals to all of the "Big 3"... So we try to use them as often as we can to get our $ worth

Like almost everything, all of the artwork and models still survive, hell even the nautilus model/miniature from the original movie survives; it was on display in the queue to the Living Seas before the Nemo redux.

And a few if not all the ride submarines are buried on WDW property in their private landfill, beyond the fireworks bunkers to the west of MK.

Why is that one guy smiling? Is it because he hasn't turned around to see exactly how many people exist in his 318 square feet plot of land?

Okay I'm sorry. In the HP forum people are calling the Hogwarts Express an E-ticket. If that is an E-ticket, I see no reason why Seven Dwarfs isn't one.

Do you know what the full Hogwarts Express experience will entail? There are multiple ride profiles and it should be more of an intense experience than SDMT as well. SDMT is, as stated, a middle ground between Barnstormer and BTMRR. Well themed, but nothing too fancy ride wise (and the track was actually shortened before they started building).

Yes, we're calling HE an E, and that's based off what a Universal Creative contractor has said, other insiders have said, and on the concept itself. All of the above have said the opposite of SDMT.

Ring Announcer: "Hello Everybody! Welcome to "Theme Park Battle Royale 2014!!!" (Pause for applause). "In this corner, fighting for Team Disney, all the way from Storybook Forest, we have The Seven Dwarfs!" (Pause for applause). "You know the guys, the ones shacked up with that smokin' hotty up in that cabin in the woods? Huh huh, wouldn't you love a well placed web cam? Am I right?"

"Well, moving on. Over in this corner, fighting for Team Universal, we have 6 Goblins and a Dragon from Gringott's Bank!" (Pause for applause) "Oh, my! Look at the size of that dragon. I'll tell ya, it's not looking good for the Dwarfs. Hopefully they brought along some of that famous "Disney Magic", they are definitely gonna need it. Ok, so Heeerrrreee Weeee Goooooo!"

"DING!"

(Massive blast of flames)

Ring Announcer: "Annnddd Itttt'sss OOVVVEERRR!!!!" Oh that's ugly.........can we get someone in here to clean that up?"

"Well, congratulation Universal Orlando on another fine effort."

"Be sure to tune in next week. We have a special In-Park Civil War brewing for you. Kermit and the gang are training up to take on Lord Vader and the entire Galactic Empire. This will be EPIC! See ya' then!.

Is Seven Dwarfs going to be better than or as good as Thunder Mountain? Probably Not. So no E-ticket there.

Is Seven Dwarfs going to be better than Barnstormer? Yes, so not a C-ticket.

So really D is where it belongs.

Agree with this as of right now, but I'm going to withhold judgement until I can ride it.

Side note, I'm 23 and think BTMRR is an incredibly fun attraction. Disney would do well to add more rides of that caliber.

If you are using that method:

Is Hogwarts Express going to better or as good as Forbidden Journey or Gringotts? Probably not. So no E-ticket there.
Is Hogwarts Express going to be better than Hippogriff? Yes, so not a C-ticket.

So IMO it is a D-ticket. Sure it will be a cool and awesome experience, but not anything thrilling or setting the bar for themed attractions. It will be like a calmer version of Spiderman or Transformers. Even if the developers are calling it an E-ticket, that doesn't really mean anything. It just means they are trying to build hype for the attractions like they are supposed to.

Same thing with Seven Dwarfs. It is a D-ticket, and NF won't be as good as the Harry Potter expansion because it has no E-ticket. HP will have two rides better or just as good as Seven Dwarfs, so the area will be better.

I'm not trying to diss HP or anything, I just can't see Hogwarts Express being an E-ticket. That doesn't mean it won't be a great attraction though.
