Haha I love how we tried to get back on-topic... and right back to talk shows.

Ferguson leaving late night in general is definitely the saddest part of the huge shift in the last couple years. Dude seemed to be still delivering a great show and then just left. It's always good to leave on top, but I definitely think Craig had many great years left in him and now he's not doing a talk show anymore, period.

I agree for the most part. Same reason there was no chance in hell Craig Ferguson was ever going to take over Late Night after Letterman. Ferguson had a great show, but it would've never translated to the 11:30 audience. It was just too.... out there.

Why can't we have this: Paxman directed by Lonnie, his first disaster movie, in which a genetically engineered superman called Paxman (played by Paxton of course) roams the world eating tornados. And then he meats the ultimate tornado, an F5 that is even worse than a regular F5, an F5 that appears as a massive giant rampaging the land (played by Brock Lesnar).

Maybe Jimmy imagines being sucked up into a tornado and then battling the Marshmallow man.

Wow. Watched Fallon last night and was shocked to see Pharrell Williams performing with the band on top of the marquee... I knew there wasn't that depth and space up there for a full band. Turns out the facade was sealed up in the 1970's (so many grand buildings in the US were crapped up in the 1970's). Comcast contracted for the entire building to be put back in it's original design. And so it has been. That and the marquee rebuilt to support performances. This bodes well for the coming facade at the Studios.

If I was a betting man, March 2017 would be a feasible launch date for Fallon.

Not for much longer though. They likely have it open still because of the queue space for HHN. But once the event is over, Twister will be gone with the wind.

Cool stuff a friend of mine is working on the ride system for this project. I don't know how much I can say but I was surprised it's being built so far west from the Orlando park and the completed system will undergo testing for months here before shipping out to Orlando. The capacity worries me with what he told me.

That's always been the biggest worry for me too as the building is very small. And with it being along the main drag of the park, it will likely see sizable crowds, too.

This is the downside to losing Disaster and Twister. Both are people eaters... Fallon and F&F? Fallon I can almost guarantee will be low capacity, F&F i'm not sure, but i'm not sold it will be too high capacity either.

You can say everything here, only 4 or 5 people are reading this stuff and we're no blabbermouths.
Actualy it's normal for Universal to have the ride system working fully off site. I know Spiderman was going arround in the north of Florida before disassembled and droven to Orlando to be re-installed.
I never thought the previous attractions (Ghostbusters show and Twister) had a big capacity. But if it has 2 pre-show holding rooms that are fun (like Minion Mayhem) we wil have a nice experiance.

Going a bit off-topic with F&F, its best to expect it to be in good capacity, especially due to if VDL comes back as the Kong vehicles (which seems to be at a really good capacity) it makes sense that it'd be high capacity. That being said, as someone said, Fallon will be more like a small cog (same for F&F too) for the next few years, much like how Transformers, Despicable Me, and to a pedigree; Springfield is.

So basically the whole park except Potter is a "small cog"?

That's not what I meant. I mean some of the more recent additions, they will be more pieces for a huger addition to get people away from it (I was just giving a example of how Despicable Me, Transformers and Springfield did to a extent take away from a major addition, not the entire park)

I'd argue Springfield did what you are saying. Despicable Me is the most popular ride in the park though (partly because it's at the entrance, but still).
